A quick note on the lighting, There were no "Performer Spotlights" shining from in front of Hayley. The main source of light was from overhead pointing down, which created strong shadows under Hayley's eyebrows, nose and chin. But it did light up her hair very nicely, a very attractive auburn / copper the same colour as quite a number of the orchestra members have naturally, One could have easily mistaken Hayley for a native Irish coleen. Thanks for this lovely picture John, I'm sure there will be more lovely pictures as various other members get home to their computers. Ooops I forgot to bring my Westenra Tartan tie.

She is no doubt well on her way to Madison right now. She told us she is flying there from Dublin today.
I'm sure there will be lots of photos and videos. On the Saturday night Hayley might have been amazed to see the battery of cameras in the front row, all filming her.
The problem I have will be how to sort my own ones out. I haven't watched/played them myself yet, but the ones from the Saturday concert when I was on the front row are likely to be good visually but with poor sound. The ones from Sunday, when I sat in the balcony have the opposite problem, much better sound but problems with the video due to the people in front of me, often moving about - I settled for filming the big screen above the stage in the end. But I am sure that between us all we will have the whole concert recorded.
Anyway, I'm sure you will get some fuller reports later too. I will probably write one myself when I get sorted out. Not been home long - the traffic around Cambridge was horrendous, is it always like that in the late afternoon on working days?

Hello everyone!
what a wonderful weekend we've had. And what a treat is in store for all those going to Madison. Unless Hayley has plans to lay over in Chicago, I guess she will be there by now. I didn't get home until late and then had to eat so decided to chill with a bottle of wine. Will be putting my two penneth on the forum tomorrrow. For now, I have to make just two comments.
JohnH your pictures are great!
And as for the CYO. Guys you were incredible. Certainly one of the best (if not THE best) orchestra I've seen perform with Hayley. You certainly give the professionals a run for the money so keep up the good work.
More tomorrow.
Best wishes Grant

Hi all! So was HWI unsuccessful in managing to meet Hayley? I was hoping that perhaps some members had the good fortune to meet her in order to perhaps find out some news as to what the future holds. I recall a while back there was even talk of potentially coming to Australia in 2014, but it seems that did not eventuate. Although it does seem like a new album is on the horizon. Although (probably not suprisingly) there don't seem to be any clues from the Cork concerts as to what the future holds, as there was a fairly traditional set list and Hayley's stage outfits were repeats.
