Lucy will be on Scala Radio tomorrow between 11am and Noon. Trains permitting.........and they didn't.........as they so often don't !  Train pain.........  (I hate going to London by train which is why I don't often do it !) |

For anyone who doesn't know, Scala Radio is a new "popular classical music" station available in the UK since March this year I think, on DAB (digital audio broadcast) and online but only in the UK... [ hot tip ]unless you enter a valid UK post code.  I like it. |

Yes Dave. Early risers like me and ornithologists will enjoy "In the park" at 6am every day, a mixture of birdsong and relaxing music. Scala is less classical than Classic FM and a lot less than Radio3 ! Just right for those of us who like our music somewhere in-between pop and classical !  |

I've seen some videos of the rehearsals with orchestra, choir and organ and it all sounds truly epic ! Must be costing a fortune though !  I've actually been in the very hall where the recording took place albeit 30 years ago ! It's had a refurbishment since then.
