Hayley sang 'All Things Bright and Beautiful' and 'Prayer'. She also said in her interview that it was spring in New Zealand, so I am pretty sure that must have been the first show, broadcast on 29th October (according to my hymn book from the event). The interview and both songs are in this video. If you know where to look, you can also see the top of my head  My VCR is in terminal decline so I haven't re-watched my tape of the programmes recently, but my notes put Cantamus BOTW (with Lucy, just to bring us back on topic) between Hayley's two songs. There was no Christmas show that year - the second programme was broadcast on 31st December, as 'The Big Party'. Katherine sang 'Count Your Blessings' and 'Dear Lord and Father of Mankind', with Cantamus 'Fix You' in between. I am not sure whether G4's 'You'll Never Walk Alone' was part of the same show, or was shown on a subsequent date. |

Great to see this highlights package appear on Youtube. Where else could you see 4 great singers for just £ 15 ?!
And who else but Lucy Kay would send me a tweet the next morning thanking me for coming to the show ? Totally sweet,kind,humble,lovely girl but I'm biased as you may have noticed !

The trouble with standing next to a woman this beautiful is that one always feels inferior in comparison !  Lucy is wearing her shoes for that photo ! I'd forgotten how tiny the wee lady is ! It's amazing how such a big voice comes out of such a little body but then they do say good things come in small packages !  Oh dear, my link has broken ! Better fix it and shed a bit more light on the subject:  That's better ! I spy a small stain on my jersey that wasn't there before we hugged. That was due to Lucy spraying a rather delicious scent on her "decolletage". |

Lucy will be performing 2 songs at the London Hippodrome on 14th June along with 19 other singers. I won't be going (well I am seeing her 4 times in 9 months !) but I believe John is and so is Lucy's mum !
