Well I met her too at the Union Chapel as some of you know.. And I love this video. I've been following her on Twitter for a while. She tweets a lot, mostly to promote her visoe and concert at the Union Chapel in December. I could be tempted to go, but don't know what my situation will be, so hard to commit myself to anything at the moment.

I spotted on her Facebook page that Rebecca Newman was giving a promo concert at a shopping precinct in Islington this morning, so I went along. She was very good indeed, singing arias, show songs and a superb rendition of Eva Cassidy's 'Fields Of Gold'. She remembered me from Hayley's concert at the Union Chapel, and I might go to her concert there on 16th December.

Rebecca has excellent stage presence. Her performing style is very different to Hayley's, so it wouldn't be fair to make too many comparisons.

Rebecca's Union Chapel concert on 16th December has been postponed. It will be rescheduled to coordinate with her album launch some time next year.

She is looking at the possibility of doing something at a smaller venue in the London area on the 16th, so as not to disappoint fans who have already made travel arrangements.
I'll post details if I hear anything.

As far as I know, her other concerts this month are going ahead as planned.

LONDON SHOW UPDATE - New venue
The London show will now be hosted at Finsbury Library Hall at 8pm on the SAME EVENING, 16th December.
Tickets on the door at £8 each. Any existing ticket holders please bring your e-tickets with you on the evening for a refund of the difference or a free CD. London boy Gari Glaysher, tenor, is still performing as my guest act.
