America's likely premiere broadcast of Rebecca's new album was on KITC-FM last night, on their 2 hour Classical Crossover Show. The presenter played "Dare to Dream" .

I am sure Richard will include it in his next charts update, but Rebecca's new album 'Dare to Dream' has gone straight to number 1 in the classical charts. A fantastic achievement for an independent artist

What an awesome day. Rebecca strait in at No. 1. This proves that an indie artist can do it. Rebecca did everything herself except the distribution. She thoroughly derves this. This is an awesome precedent for other artists. You don't need a record contract any more.
I expect a lot of people will be thinking "where did she spring from" but I know she has been working towards this day for years. And the album is beautiful.
And to add the icing on the cake I have just seen Leicester City beat Manchester United 5-3 in one of the best football matches I have ever seen.
Days don't get much better than this.

I got my CD/DVD a couple of days ago and I loved the new album. The DVD is great too. Rebecca explains each song choice on it plus 4 music videos.

Congratulations Rebecca! Her career should take off in a big way now, and John Brunning will have to play a track from 'Dare to Dream' in the Classic FM Chart Show next Sunday. A new video from Rebecca: Richard

Just listened to Dare to Dream. It was the first time I'd ever heard her sing...not bad at all! Her CD is now on my wishlist!

Rebecca Newman was in London yesterday for a meeting. She ended up busking at Piccadilly Circus: I didn't know about this, so I wasn't there. Richard

Me too, although I saw her at Songbirds a couple of weeks ago. She has a great voice, and can hit the high notes with power without screeching or excessive vibrato. I always admire that.
