My, how times change. As per the post below on the CW official website, Chloë Agnew has left the group to be replaced with Mairéad Carlin (not to be confused with Máiréad Nesbitt: Take note that one has two accents, the other has one). "And then there was one." www.celticwoman.com/mairead-carlin/So, now the lineup is Lisa Lambe, Susan, Mairéad, and Máiréad. -Taylor

Aww man, she was one of my favourites. It'd be really awesome even if they did a one time performance with the New Journey set together again. It was the perfect set. But I do have to admit, Lisa Lambe is wonderful, her performing skills are amazing, she fills the stage Mairead Carlin people, www.youtube.com/watch?v=NUQt_paLNe8First time without any of the original members.

Why do they keep choosing girls with the same name? I just wish they'd sing some Gaelic songs like Orla and Meav did. I know they always choose one group number in Gaelic per show, but it's just not enough.

Well, I don't think the others are native Gaelic speakers Libby. It makes a difference you know. And I'm sure it makes it hard to learn the songs if you don't know the language. Didn't stop Hayley though, but she is exceptional as we know.

They could do it if they tried hard enough. Hayley can't be the only person who can learn to sing in Gaelic, or any other language, for that matter. I guess they think one foot-tapping Gaelic song is enough, but it isn't. I miss the softer ones like Orla did, not to mention Meav's. I'm sure they could also find native speakers if they really tried hard enough. But maybe they think that their fanbase is big enough that it doesn't really matter.

I've heard of them. Didn't Meav used to be part of that group? I'll take a listen to them.

Just a thought,
Hayley and Chloe together as a team, perhaps with some male singers like Vitorrio or Mario..
touring the USA..

Just a thought, Hayley and Chloe together as a team, perhaps with some male singers like Vitorrio or Mario.. touring the USA.. Well, when you take into account how often each of them have been spending in the USA lately, that wouldn't be too far-fetched. i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif Since 2014, Hayley has been in LA and New York a lot. Since Chloe mentioned returning to LA not too long ago, and Hayley arriving shortly thereafter, they, at least, could very easily be together again there.

For Throwback Thursday, Chloe posted pictures from her upcoming tour locations (I can't remember how to embed the posts, oh well, will I ever learn?):
