Now I'll tell you a little about the concert. First off, the concert began with a bang... literally! When Chloe walked up onto the stage, Dermot's music stand attached to his keyboard promptly fell to floor, his music in a mess! LOL She then informed us that they had also had a flat tire along the way, and she joked about the luck of the Irish. This happened a second time, during the second half of the show. She was singing her original song when it went splat on the floor again! Chloe feigned annoyance at her love for disrupting her performance, saying she was in the middle of selling her soul. At one point she gave him a sweet smile as if she wasn't mad after all, and then promptly looked at us with a obviously put-on frown on her face. It was all very amusing. Not only did she sing the folk type songs we're accustomed to from CW, she also sang one original song, and some current songs that have been made famous by Irish artists or Irish musical productions. Dermot Kiernan played piano and guitar and sang with her quite a bit, as well. He even sang one song while she took a "breather" after the Rattlin' Bog, which was a very taxing song to sing (see below). I'm not sure of the spelling, but it sounded like the title was My Caven Girl. Here are some songs that I remember, not necessarily in order: No Frontiers Galway Bay Raglan Road Danny Boy Irish song medley, which included Mho Ghile Mear and Spanish Lady, and something else about Dublin city that said "She is handsome, she is pretty,..." Rattlin' Bog Falling Slowly All I Want Chasing Cars (which is much lovelier than it sounds) The Gathering (original by Chloe) You Raise Me Up When Irish Eyes are Smiling (encore) I may have forgotten one or two, but that's all I can remember. I was a little disappointed not to hear My Lagan Love, after one description of upcoming concerts listed it as one we might expect to hear. Here's a video of Rattlin' Bog from LA:

Love the picture of Chloë in the green tee shirt. That's as good as you can get without buying professional cameras and lenses.
Try and remember Libby that several of our members on HWI are as good or better than professional photographers. They usually carry cameras as big as a brick and super lenses that may have cost well over a €1,000, Some of them will take up to a thousand shots at a concert. We are very lucky to have them among us at various concerts.
But as you well know, any photos are better than no photos at all, so thanks for the pics Libby, well done.

Your pictures are fine Libby. Even professional cameras can struggle in low light with a moving subject and spotlights are a nightmare! which is why the face on one of your pictures appears burnt out. You did very well - expecially the one with green teeshirt and white skirt - you have nothing to apologise for Cheers Grant

Thanks for all your kind comments about my pictures. If you saw one of the other ones I took that I didn't post, you would understand some of my dissatisfaction at my photos. Yes, Richard, that is the song that Dermot sang; in fact, he mentioned the High Kings. He even said that they had toured with Celtic Woman before! And, this statement confirmed my guess that Dermot was, in fact, one of the background singers from CW. I mean, where else was she going to meet a guy with the non-stop touring? I just remembered one of the other songs she sang, one which was requested by a fan during the Meet & Greet (which I did not attend, due to the time it started). It was one that I really wanted to hear, but wasn't sure if she would actually sing it or not, and so it turns out it's very lucky that she did sing it, after all! The song was Isle of Hope, which is from Songs from the Heart. I've always loved that song, because it always gives me chills and is very emotional and powerful. I also forgot to mention that at the table just outside the theatre entrance door, were stacks of a Chloe album called Heartstrings, which I was not aware even existed! I'll take a picture of it and post it sometime soon, so you can all see the tracklisting that way. I'm not sure when it came out and I don't remember seeing it on Amazon when I recently did a search, and is not even available from her website (which you can only get to through a link on her FB page, here: www.chloeagnewofficial.com/). Now, for the recent FB posts: According to a fan, this is at Greenwood Memorial Park in Renton (very close to Seattle... and Kent!!): I wonder if Hayley went there with her when they were in Seattle in 2007! That jacket she's been wearing sort of reminds me of those green floral curtains the Von Trapp children wore in the Sound of Music!

Here is the CD I bought: Sorry about how big they are. Maybe it's not a big deal, but it is to me, because I already re-sized them, and cropped one, in photobucket, and even told it to replace the original. When I noticed it was still the same size, I tried to re-size it again, but when I did, it shows that I've already done it! So, if I already did it, then why won't it show it anywhere?? There have been times when just saving it on its own and keeping the original was the only way it would work, but I dislike doing that, because then if I save it in my pictures, it will have a humongous gobbledy-gook jpg url, and then it won't go in order next to the original photo in my folder; it'll go at the beginning out of order. I really despise photobucket sometimes. Are there any sites that work better, or are they all aggravating? Or, is it just my annoying computer?

Hello Libby! I've found another video of the same performance, but the quality isn't quite as good. I hope this one plays for you: When you resize or edit a photo in Photobucket, there's usually a delay of several hours before the changes appear on the forum. I think your photos have resized now. Yes Libby, Photobucket has been designed to send you to the funny farm, It is a little bit more co-operative if you are a paying customer. I have often gone to Photobucket to do something thinking this will only take twenty minutes or so only to find myself there 4 hours later cursing and swearing at computers and the Interwebby thingy and every thing to do with technology that was supposed to make our lives easier...
On the plus side :
It is great to see Chloë having so much fun in the video of Rattlin' bog, there is comedy and music in her family genes.
That cd you got looks like it is a fan collectors item. No serial number, No record label. probably just helps with petrol and expenses while touring.
