So this is what this forum has come to. Nobody even cares anymore? That’s my biggest worry about Hayley’s album. Has she waited so long that everyone has moved on and all but forgotten her? Well, it kind of seems like it. And although things appear to be getting closer, it’s still not happening. I feel like I’ve been telling others for years that she’s been working on an album and it might be out soon. I guess it’s no wonder everyone has disappeared. 🙁 We still keep looking at the forum when we have a moment. Abigail has gone through college and is now a full time child practitioner at a nursery school and has moved into her own place. I am still looking after Wendy 24/7 who is still with us but unable to do anything at all herself now but still wishing for another Hayley concert before it is too late. We have just been too busy but if Hayley brings out a Cd will be logging in more. |

Sorry to hear of the troubles your family is going through. Yes, I keep hoping Hayley’s album will finally come out, and although she’s recently given us much stronger hope than in years, we still wait and wait. My worry is just that the longer this goes, the more people will forget about her.

Thank you for writing...indeed all of us are waiting for Hayley's next album with bated breath! Every bit of shine and polish seems to be going into this recording.
You and your family are great friends of the forum. I will keep Wendy in my prayers...and very proud of Abigail! My very best to you all.

I was doing some digging on Instagram over my break and found this (among others): http://instagram.com/p/BwI4Y3zA7Sn If you notice, Hayley and Chris "liked" the photo. (Hayley was also tagged in another pic caption). The date of this photo falls within the time frame they were at the studio in NZ. This could have been from one of Hayley's sessions. Either way, the studio has a really cool vibe. I love all the pics from this studio  Edit: just realized you can't actually see that Chris and Hayley "liked" the photo, unless you actually go to Instagram lol |

This is purely speculation as to what instruments and setting were used in recording Hayley's new album. This and the previous photo could very well be from a session with a different artist. There is also a post from April 20 that has Hayley tagged in the caption...seems like they may have gone to the beach together  |

I posted this in the Spotify thread, but I decided it relates more to this thread, so I copied the main portion from it and put it here (and added a few things).
Things are still going slowly, but the album is recorded and has had lots of mixing done. Hayley has been at Capitol Studios and may have been somewhere to do with Apple music, a day after she was seen shopping for a stylish outfit (not the sort of thing you see peope wearing on the street on a regular day, but who knows).
Maybe we'll get it the beginning of next year? It's already October, and no signs of a release yet. I still wonder why she asked us if we were ready for new music, but still hasn't shown us a single thing from the album. Do you think she'll use the photos from Italy that are on her SM pages? Or do a new photo shoot? Well, I like the one she did, but she hadn't recorded her album when she had that shoot done.
There's been some debate about whether or not Hayley would still record her sad songs from before she met Chris, but I think it would be a mistake not to, and not just because I personally want to hear them on record, mind you. Of course I'm still very disappointed that nobody outside of Taiwan has ever heard one of her new songs, Not Alone. I almost forgot what it was called, so that says something (especially for me).
But let's say all the songs she and Chris wrote together are all happy, lovey-dovey songs. Sure, she wants to celebrate that, but I think it's a mistake to sweep the past under the rug as if it never happened. I'm guessing Hayley is not Chris' first love, either. In fact, I seem to remember seeing pics of a former gf on his FB page (which he doesn't appear to use anymore). Also I imagine that Chris would tour with her, and unless she's planning to pretend he's just a friend, fans are bound to get confused. Some of her less diehard fans have already been left confused that she is with someone different than she was seen marrying 6 years ago. Some people won't know the difference, but the ones who have followed her this long know at least a little something about her love life.

I am hoping we get from Hayley some kind of music teaser alongside an estimated album release date. I kinda would like to see a new photoshoot...especially pics of Hayley and Chris at the piano. The pic by Angela LoPriore that Hayley uses as her Instagram profile photo would be ideal for an album cover, even though it it is a bit dated. A wide range of song types, genres, and emotions would be something I would like. Happy songs, like you mentioned, alongside some popular classical songs and even covers of recent songs. Oooh...do we know if Chris can sing? They can duet a love song, perhaps as a single or for radio airplay (goosebumps!) One can imagine that Hayley has notebooks full of lyrics and song ideas, written over the years and especially when she faced some of life's troubles. Yes, I also imagine Chris accompanying Hayley onstage on a tour (more goosebumps!). As much as I would like a new album on Friday, I am sure Hayley is making sure every beat is the way she wants it to sound. With no big record company executive pressuring her about song choices or meeting recording deadlines, she can and she will be proud of what she created like she never has before. we are SO ready for new music! Just give us fans a quick note...next spring, March, June? Surely a release date must be circled on her calendar! |

A new photo shoot would just delay things more, I think. There must be a reason she had it done long before her album was even ready. Why have it done just for a profile photo when you could easily take your own photo for that? The black and white photos along with the color photos made me think of darkness and light, sadness and happiness. If nothing else, music videos might be in order, as well.
I wonder if Hayley was shopping for stylish outfits to wear for some sort of outing, something to do with promoting her album, maybe. Remember the other day when she said go, go? It was right after that apple music thing, so it made me think that there’s a push to get the album moving along. Maybe she’s trying to get a song released on iTunes? 🤞

I had a rush of blood to the head earlier (it happens occasionally), and I reckon that none of us have been firing on all cylinders. I reckon that the delay in release of "the" album is because it's being timed to maximise the possibility of making the Christmas No.1 slot in all the key charts.
So standby. Should be any day now ..... |
