Shall we change the thread title yet? As the Domingo one is only 3 weeks from announcement to release, maybe not! Cheers, Dave

Umm... yes, perhaps you should change it to Hayley's Next Album, instead of putting in predictions of what year it'll be out. Though if you put in 2016, that most likely will turn out to be the case. And since you made a new thread for this 2015 Placido Domingo album, then yes, you probably can change the title.

Well, Libby, we don't know when that photo was taken. Could be Hayley knew the album was about to be announced, and got in first with her photo of the recording session. I agree it is unlikely that she is still working on it.
Her earlier 12 Sept "Duet" photo could well have been in the same studio. The colours look very similar.

Martin D Okay, I'll admit that's possible. Except it was the 11th, not the 12th. i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifHowever, Comet doesn't seem to think that microphone is being used to record music. So, the photo may very well have been taken that very day, and not have anything to do with Placido Domingo. Maybe she's reusing her plastic bottles. People do it all the time.

12 September is the date on Hayley's tweet (I checked). Could have happened the day before. The microphone was in the studio, not necessarily the one Hayley used, although its position close to the table with the water on it suggests it might be. I would be interested to know why that microphone would not be used by Hayley. Does Paul recognise it, and know its spec. Perhaps Hayley and Placido had a bottle each....

Of course, Hayley needn't have been anywhere near Sr. Domingo, duets can be created when far apart these days!
I have as suggested once or twice changed the thread title to 'next album', which should cover everything except the unimaginable!
Cheers, Dave

Martin D When I saw it, it was still my Friday, and here you see it says the 11th. I distinctly remember noting how late it was in the UK, wondering if it could be somewhere else. So, in other words, we're both right! It was the 11th and 12th at the same time! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif

Usually yes, but not always some mics these days come with builtin shock absorbers , That's most certainly a recording mic.

Richard, shouldn't any further My Christmas info be in the coinciding thread that Dave created? A recording microphone would usually be in an anti shock mount, not on a floor mounted stand. Usually yes, but not always some mics these days come with builtin shock absorbers , That's most certainly a recording mic. Yay! I mean, what else would be? Her album process seems too far advanced to still be in demo stage, for Pete's sake. I thought maybe there could be a keyboard down there somewhere, but then if Hayley was so concerned about giving us clues, she would show it.

Hello Libby and Dave! My previous post was intended as a transition between the two threads. All the necessary information is in the new thread, so I was never on the hook in the first place! Richard
