Hello Sing! Yes I found that one, but I thought Hayley posted another one with a more definite caption. It was quite a while ago, so here's the photo anyway. Richard

Was it a shop window picture and the mention of spending a large amount ?

I remember that photo, too, but I'm not sure how we know that's actually recording equipment. Again, I'm very ignorant on that subject, too. Just looks like a keyboard of some sort, headphones, and stereos of some sort. I don't see any microphones...

Oh, thanks! I just needed proof, that's all! LOL
However, the question still remains if her studio set-up is really intended for actually recording an album, as opposed to demos, or something. And are any of the recent in studio photos in this studio?

Well remembered and found, Dave! Libby, I don't think any of Hayley's recent studio photos were taken at home. I've just remembered this tweet too: There are a couple of railway lines in her area. My guess is that Hayley uses her home studio for her own compositions, so she can play them to her musicians before recording them in a professional studio. Richard

Yes, that would be my guess. Her studio would be a useful tool for trying out new songs and arrangements, for either live shows or albums, and for recording demos of new songs, but I would expect the the actual album recordings to be done in professional studio with a professional producer and staff. The hone studio could mean that she uses her professional studio time more effectively by knowing exactly what she wants to do before she starts.

Richard Oh, that sounds like a definite possibility. Maybe if a potential Christmas concert is announced soon, maybe the article/announcement will mention a brief hint of when her album might come out. As Martin says, I live in hope, too! That's all I have to hope for, as well as maybe some "tourist" recordings. i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif Not necessarily Irish tourists, if they can't go, but ones from other places will be welcome, too!

Ah, so then she must have been recording at some point. But, what about the writer's block thing? They might not have been in the studio at that moment, but it would seem they were still in the songwriting process. Maybe it was just one song that she/they were trying to get just right. I would say she's close to being done, though. But probably not soon enough to be released in November. It's October. Thanks for that information, comet. I don't know very much about recording albums, obviously! On Oct 19 2014 Mirusia tweeted. So I don't think Hayley being in the studio has to mean a 2015 release but just that it is most likely. I do wonder why the producers of artists like Hayley need more than a few hours per track.

Jim, more time means more quality. Rushing around with an album isn't always a good thing, and believe me, some of us feel that way about the last thing we got. But let's not get into that again. Ever again, I would prefer. We can't really equate Hayley with what other artists do.

Absolutely. "My Gift to You" was a rushed Hayley album. The others weren't. In my youth popular artists like The Beatles were expected to come up with four albums a year, I suspect they thought to keep the public interested. Hayley usually takes her time, and I think that is a good thing. We usually expect something wonderful from her, and are rarely disappointed.

Libby and Martin, I was not suggesting Hayley should rush out an album. I would have thought that the secret to Hayley producing a first class album was in the pre-recording period not in the post production. Writing and selecting the right songs and the arrangements would seem to me to be key. Hayley's live performances have been recorded by amatures at concerts and given more than just aceptable results. With the equipment available in the studio I fail to understand how the producer is going to improve a great deal on the sounds Hayley makes. I know I am over simplyfing things but I do like the live sounding recordings, less the coughing, that the 'tourists' recordings had at Union Chapple.
