Union Chapel revisited!

I have some more videos taken by our illustrious "Tourist" , which I have left unseen and unheard for far too long. As a taster, here is Hayley's final song - the climax of the concert (before the encores) "Bridge Over Troubled Water". Yes you've probably seen this one already - but trust me, you ain't heard nothin' yet!

This was recorded from the audience using high quality audio equipment separate from the camcorder (but still limited by the stage speakers of course), and I have tried to preserve the audio quality (within Youtube's limitations) by replacing the original camcorder audio with it. The stage was of course dark, but the video is nevertheless still very nice I think. This is Hayley singing powerfully, at the climax of her 2 hour concert and just before the encores.

Warning: The percussion is very sharp and heavy at times, so much so that it may cause problems for some replay equipment e.g. headphones, and if so, try adjusting your bass and/or audio levels down a bit. Playing at 1080p will give the best audio quality.

Hi everyone,

I've done another Union Chapel video (late, I know!), this time of Hayley and Jonathan Ansell singing Vivo Per Lei. I had good videos of it from our illustrious Tourist, and I pinched Martin D's version from his Youtube (with prior permission of course!), so I have combined them as best I can - using of course Tourist's separately recorded high quality audio.

Lighting was poor and colour balance variable to say the least, it was all a bit tricky but I've done what I can. Here it is - for Jonathan fans too!

although Hayley is singing very different lyrics in the Union Chapel version

For years I just didn't connect with this song at all.
Then I got hold of the translation and it began to make some sense.

Stupendous performance! Ever since I first heard Jonathan Ansell sing I've loved his voice and I've always liked hearing and seeing Hayley and Jonathan perform together. This performance was brilliant!

Hi Martin,

the links in my previous post go to two completely different sets of lyrics.

Yes, I too am slightly puzzled by it all... maybe someday I will get it.

This one seem closest to the Union Chapel version in the video
