Hi everyone,
I've been trying to find out what Hayley will be singing at this event but so far, it appears that only Sleep On is confirmed. It's early days though and that could be added to between now and then.
Cheers, Dave

Hi everyone,
I understand that Hayley is now expected to perform two songs at Classic FM Live - Sleep On and "one other".

Thanks Richard. It looks like Hayley will be performing late into the second half assuming that this set list is also the running order. Martin

Hello Martin! There's always the possibility that Classic FM might change the running order when they edit the concert for broadcasting. It's a fairly safe bet that the 1812 Overture will be the grand finale, and it definitely won't be at twelve minutes past six! Richard

Just got back home from London. The concert was cancelled due to a fire at the Royal Albert Hall shortly before the performance was due to start As far as I know everybody was evacuated safely.

I'm just back home too. A big disappointment but at least Dave and I met up with Hayley and Valerie outside the Albert Hall and had a chat. Dave took a number of photos of fire engines and stuff and Valerie took one of Hayley, Dave and myself. Martin

Sorry to hear about the cancelled event...but I'm very pleased the electrics fault's damage was minimal and that no one was injured.
Looking forward to some pics!

Hello Martin! There's always the possibility that Classic FM might change the running order... Well they certainly did change the running order Richard, though as you've already seen, not in a way they (or we!) would have preferred! So, my top secret plan to secrete a video of Hayley's performance from the boxes was foiled. Yes, foiled again! Martin and I did bump into each other though, whilst milling around in the ejected crowd of thousands! I disappeared to take a few fire engine photos just at the time the concert had been scheduled to start and when I returned, Martin had spotted Hayley who was also milling around in the crowd... with Valerie by her side! So we struggled through the assembled hordes to have a chat with them and, of course, Hayley was as disappointed as the rest of us. Not least because most of what she'd brought with her was still inside, in her dressing room! Luckily, unlike yesterday, it was a pleasant and dry evening in London town. So what to do next? Martin and I left Hayley, Valerie and an official of some kind to sort themselves out whilst we had to decide what to do with the unexpected free hours. As we slowly wandered away, we and others were amused to hear one of the orchestra trumpeters outside with us play the Classic FM signature jingle - all five seconds of it - and that was our concert for the night! Naturally, Martin and I we ended up in the nearest hostelry with a pint to drown our sorrows - and still got home two hours sooner than expected! Sorry we missed you, John. But enough of all that - so on with a few photos. Candid shot of Hayley in the crowd by streetlight Taken before I got the flash sorted out! More photos in a minute... Cheers, Dave
