Thankfully the London firemen didn't have to throw Hayley over their shoulders and carry her out. They would have sent for Jonathan Ansell! Richard

Last night on the Full Works Concert at 8pm Classic FM played the music that would have been performed at the concert. Hayley comes on after 59 minutes. Ironically the first advert before they play "Sleep On" is for a smoke alarm !! They also played "La Califfa" from Paradiso.

Thanks Jeff, I've just listened to (and recorded) the relevant parts of "the concert that never was" - very nice too so what a pity that it's all make-believe!
Cheers, Dave

Hi everyone,
Since the cancellation, I've heard it on good authority that the lighting system was damaged too badly to be fixed in time for the concert, even if it had occurred earlier in the day. It wasn't only a matter of "too much smoke".
Cheers, Dave
