Hmmm, I've tried to tune in but it says I can't due to copyright rules but I'm in the UK! I wish I could get my radio to work rather than listening to it online anyway - my radio's louder to me than my other speakers At the moment looks like I can't listen either way... Typical- just when I want to try out my brand new hearing aids too!

Hi Sing,
That's odd that I can get it in Australia and you can't in the UK?

Sing does it give you a chance to enter a valid UK post code (that is what we overseas people have to do) , Jillian hopefully after this next song

Maybe after Greensleeves? They play nice music on ClassicFM. I think this is the first time I've sat and listened to it.

It's not fair, I'm in the UK and I can't listen to it I'm going to keep trying though, it hasn't been on yet has it? Oh no I've missed it It's playing now why couldn't it do that earlier?!

Ugh, well, I didn't make it. Got up at 5 only to realize that the parents would think it a bit suspicious if I were on my computer at 5 AM. However, I can go back and listen when they put the show up, right? Anybody have any idea when that could be? Anyway, I'm glad it's a lovely song, can't wait to hear it myself. -Taylor i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif

Hi all! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif I'll do my best to describe it. Although, I'm musically dormant, so we'll see how I go! 1. The lyrics are posted above. 2. Hayley's singing style is very similar to Twinkle Twinkle - that understated intimate style. 3. It sounds like a lullaby - it's a subtle song. So no big 'hey wake up and take notice of me!' notes or musical variations. For obvious reasons, I suppose! 4. It seemed short - the lyrics are just sung through once. 5. Backing music very nice. I know this sounds like an odd thing, but listening to Sleep On, I began to appreciate why Twinkle Twinkle was released first. Hopefully it will be up for everyone else to hear soon. Now that we have Twinkle Twinkle, Hush Little Baby and Sleep On released, I think that the tone of this album is plain to see. All three songs have a very similar sound. This is very clearly a solid lullaby album. Sleep On doesn't really deviate too much from Twinkle Twinkle territory. But I can't really comment. As some have said, this is the kind of material that some will love and others not so much. Personally, I have issues with music that aims to send people to sleep - my preference is for music that demands my attention - It doesn't have to be loud or shouty, it just needs to assert its presence. However, I appreciate that some people love that sort of thing. I think it's clear (well at this stage at any rate) that given my personal tastes, a lullaby album is never going to be my scene. I'm just reminding myself that this is a Decca marketing project and that in reality, Hayley has been taking a much more engaging and commanding approach in her recent live concerts - with show stopping performances of Bridge Over Troubled Water, Believe and the new chinese songs etc. Just hope it's not too long until everything gets back on track to where we were before. Cheers, Jillian

Hello Jillian! John Suchet played 'Sleep On' at about 11:35 British Summer Time. I agree with your little review, and I must admit it's not the sort of song I would listen to frequently, but I liked it. There's been quite a good reaction on Twitter, and Hayley has already retweeted these five comments: Richard

I must admit that I'm at a bit of a loss right now I was hoping that 'Sleep On' would totally blow all my pre-conceptions about the album out of the water, but it actually reconfirmed them. Sort of wondering how I'm going to approach this album is a bit of an odd feeling for me, as I've just been blindly excited for every release in the past. However, I suppose excitement is actually the antithesis of sleep, isn't it? I'm guessing waiting for some of the photoshoot photos and then burying myself in tracking down all the fashion might be a plan? Cheers, Jillian
