I'm a bit confused. I got a notice again for CC requests, for tomorrow. Tomorrow is Tuesday! I realized the guy posting (Dazza), is in the UK, but it was still only 3pm here, which I'm pretty sure is 11pm in the UK. Unless he was just posting it early just to be sure. I suppose that's the case, but I am easily confused by this radio station's schedule!  I'm going to suggest Whispers in a Dream, Amalia, or La Califfa. I saw that Bernie requested Wuthering Heights by.. Mary Jess??  Has she recorded that? Or is he getting mixed up with Hayley? I just asked about Mary-jess' recording of "Wuthering Heights". There's no mention of that on her forum! ((Edit: Ok, Bernie told me that was a typo... He meant Hayley but must have had MJ on the brain since the last song was by Mary-Jess)) Jenny♥ Thanks for clearing that up, Jenny  . I was rather mystified the other day when I saw part of a facebook conversation where Bernie seemed to be linking Mary-Jess with Wuthering Heights  . I wouldn't be at all surprised to hear of Mary-Jess singing that song, but if she had released a recording of it then I would have expected to know about it. |

My request and my first name was just played again! "Summer Rain ".
Also Paul from Ireland (our member Comet) was also mentioned!

It was worth hearing "Summer Rain" and "One Fine Day" again!! I'll keep my eye on the website where they post the recordings of the show! If you have been upset with the amount of Jackie being played on the show, try listening tonight! We had a little discussion on the FB page about it (no, I didn't start it. lol). Things might be a little different tonight. Mostly because Pat emailed and told me that she figured out what she was doing wrong trying to download from Amazon in the past, so now she has much more music!

What a great radio show tonight! Although only one Hayley song "Both Sides Now", it was a well-balanced playlist. Artists of interest included All Angels, Sisca, Emma Shapplin, and others.

Yes, an AMAZING show tonight!! Like Joe said, very well balanced. Only one Jackie song (the Jackie fans were quite distressed  )! About halfway through the show one of them posted something that tickled me. I'm glad they played something by Hayley! And that they played less Jackie. The Jackie listeners shouldn't expect it to be all Jackie, unless the name is changed to the Jackie Evancho station, or something. I'm still hoping they'll play something from Paradiso soon! It only cost me $10, but it would be nice if they made my money worthwhile! Jenny, do you think they're still having problems downloading Amazon stuff? I know I've had problems with it before. Also, I am still soooo confused on which page to make requests on. It seems like it's different every week. The only way I've been able to do it successfully is to use the link I get in my e-mail, but that's on Wednesday. Sometimes I work on that day and am not able to make my requests that day at all. But, since I'm never quite sure which page to do it on, it's hard for me to do it the day before. I used the first link Jenny posted on page 2 of this thread. But, that was not the link in the e-mail, so I had to make my requests again there. Why do they make this so difficult?? So, everybody, it would be great if we could all make a request or 2 for a Paradiso song! It would be nice if it could be played on the radio somewhere other than Ireland for once! |
