One of the show hosts will ask for requests about a day before, on their Facebook group page KITC Classical Crossover. It's a closed group, but they accept new people very fast.
Just search for the group page on FB.
Also there is a lively chat there during the show.
Last Wednesday many Jackie fans were so upset that two Jackie E songs were played.
And next week they will air an interview they had with Jackie, and plan to air many more songs as well.

Hey Libby! If you're a part of the group, and you have the Facbook app, all you have to do is: Click this button: And it will pull up this: Click on the KITCFM bar, and there will be the requests post: Click on the Likes and Comments bar below the post, and request! Hope that's a little bit helpful! -Taylor i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifP.S.- I like your bunny, Libby.

Jenny, do you think they're still having problems downloading Amazon stuff? I know I've had problems with it before. Also, I am still soooo confused on which page to make requests on. It seems like it's different every week. The only way I've been able to do it successfully is to use the link I get in my e-mail, but that's on Wednesday. Sometimes I work on that day and am not able to make my requests that day at all. But, since I'm never quite sure which page to do it on, it's hard for me to do it the day before. I used the first link Jenny posted on page 2 of this thread. But, that was not the link in the e-mail, so I had to make my requests again there. Yes, I'm sure Pat got Amazon figured out. She mentioned having trouble with the Cloud thing, trying to figure out how to download. I had a similar problem when Amazon first started the Cloud feature. Pat and Becky will see your request as long as you're on this page: www.facebook.com/groups/401971446508750/Jenny♥

I am pleased that Jenny A's very hard and dedicated work is showing results. Hopefully the station's programming will expand and perhaps others stations will notice and see the potential of adjusting their programming to include appeasment at least to listeners like us.
Seeing other artists presented on the program is the icing on the cake, I hope to see even more classical crossover artists that sing adult contemporaty songs present or have their music presented on open and online airwaves.
I have noticed that some fans on this HWI site seem to relish the presentation of anything, especially Hayley's artistry over Jackie Evancho. I do not understand this pleasure that they gain. It would almost seem that there is an unstated competition between Hayley and Jackie for some yet to be revealed reason.
Hayley does not strike me as the type of artist that would relish in that type of sensation for a second. Neither would Jackie, who in fact, would probably glow with the idea of appearing with Hayley even for a single song together; perhaps on a David Foster and Friends concert sometime.
I have stated before and do so again, I am a fan of Jackie Evancho. I also state that my interest and appreciation of Jackie has caused me to by some albums of Hayley's which I cherish very much because she is truly amazing and deserves the attention of all listeners that have not yet experienced Hayley.
I caution all thos HWI fans to be careful not to dis too many CC artists of Adutl Contemporty music in case it turns others away.

I wasn't aware than anyone was dissing Jackie Gordie. I think most people here think she is phenominally talented and enjoy her music.
I thought the objection was that there was too much of her on this show, and thus not enough variety. I would feel the same way if it were all Hayley too, unless they did a special feature one week.
But some Jackie fans give the impression that the show SHOULD be all Jackie, and have no interest in anybody else. That is a very narrow minded attitude I think.

In response to your post I reread my post and realize that I could have been a little more diplomatic. I also reread Reply #134 which prompted my post and I still feel that the use of the emodicons in that post are in fact dissing Jackie. However, I do not want to see a debate evolve on this matter but rather see greater support being given to Jenny A's intitiative of getting air time for CC vocalists. The best way for Hayley's music to receive more time is for her fans to become more active in voicing their desire for more airtime with the radio station. After all, it was exclusively Jackie's fans getting behind Jenny A that got this entire program rolling. Hopefully more Haley fans will become active and inturn encourage fans of other CC artists to follow suit. The more variety brought to the program, the more it will be seen as a success and maybe other stations will get on the wagon. I live for the day that Adult Contemporary music from CC vocalists receives as much airtime as (c)RAP stuff, which gets far too much attention for so little value.
The more airtime that Hayley and other CC artists receive the greater the CD sales are likely to be and the better that concerts will be attended.

Like Joe said, very well balanced. Only one Jackie song (the Jackie fans were quite distressed )! About halfway through the show one of them posted something that tickled me. And may I quote: And here we are, just hoping for a single song of Hayley's. ALSO, my request (3 weeks running) for "Both Sides Now" was finally played. Still my #1 favourite of all time from Hayley. -Taylor i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifI appreciate you sharing your views. It's nice to be aware of how everyone feels about this! Perhaps we can get Taylor to explain his post and then that'll be the end of it? I didn't find this even slightly offensive because I was reading it with my own emotions: Absolutely so disrespect towards Jackie, of whom I am a fan, but frustration (in my case only slight frustration) towards a few Jackie fans who during the first half of the show, heard only one Jackie song (and one song from several other artists- for a CC show, perfectly balanced.) and then posted a few complaints in the group chat. Taylor quoted one Jackie fan in his post. Later in the show a few started 'chanting' for Jackie. They did get another Jackie song by the end of the show. - I did feel a little sorry for them as this show was a huge difference from past shows! Only two Jackie songs, "The Impossible Dream" and "Nessun Dorma", and one from everyone else. My own disclaimer, As far as this show is concerned, I do not favor any artist over another (even Hayley). Also, this isn't my project, even if I have been promoting it, so I can't take much credit. If you are a member of another CC artist's forum that hasn't heard about the show, please share the information!! Jenny♥

Sorry if you were mislead by the emoticons! I just thought it was rather funny that one would be so dramatic over not hearing an artist played for a while. I didn't mean to offend anybody, just speaking my mind. It just seemed very childish not being able to be content listening to other great artists while waiting for your favourite to come on. I sit and enjoy all the artists on the show while waiting to see if there will be a song by Hayley. And I enjoy Jackie as well, very much so. My deepest apologies, -Taylor

I would feel the same way if it were all Hayley too, unless they did a special feature one week.Martin D Yes, Martin that's exactly the way I feel, in fact, I know for a fact that I've said something very similar in this thread somewhere. And today, Becky asked us for our thoughts on whether they play too much Jackie or not. Here's what I said: " I happen to think that a radio station called Classical Crossover music should play that: Classical Crossover music. If the station is only for Jackie Evancho songs, then it should be called the Jackie Evancho station. There are lots of talented CC artists that deserve more attention & more fans, not just Jackie. It's always good to broaden your horizons. If you only want to hear Jackie, then I say, just play one of her CDs for yourself instead. That's what I do with my favorite artist, who is only played once or twice on the show each week. Which is way more than she'll ever get in the US."

Okay, so I think I'm clear on the proper page to use. The KITCFM page. Okay, got it. I was confused because there seem to be several different pages/people associated with this station. I'm pretty sure the original link Jenny gave on page 2 is different than the one she just gave me now. That other one still says stuff about Christmas in July. In fact, I think that's where I made my requests for that show! So I'm still a little confused about that. Unless the links change somehow when the timelines do. Do they?

Yay! Good news! There's a document that's just been added on the group page with a list of CDs available to airplay!: www.facebook.com/groups/401971446508750/doc/433799219992639/ It's incomplete at the moment so don't panic if you've sent something and don't see it listed! Becky commented that she'll fill in the rest on Monday since Pat has the albums and, I guess, Becky does most of the Facebook stuff... At the top of the KITCFM page you'll see where it says: [KITCFM Classical Crossover with PatRice and Becky] and next to that [About][Events][Photos][Files] - The document is under [Files] Jenny♥ fixed link... I don't log in every day, though. But I normally see stuff posted by people associate with the CC radio. For example, I see stuff by a guy named Bernie Scott quite a bit. I don't recall liking his page in particular; maybe he asked me to be friends. That's probably it. But you see, this is why I get sooo confused.

I wonder if a sponsorship from me on behalf of HWI would give us a mention during the start and end of every show? Hmmm ... Hmmm....fingers crossed for something much better... How does the 'Hayley Hour' sound
