I gather Robert has corrected the Hayleyonline link now. It wasn't my fault this time!!! And I see Grant has tweeted the link to Hayley.
I too would like to thank Joe and Dave for arranging this interview, and Hayley for agreeing to do it. I thoroughly enjoyed it, and it s a real feather in HWI's cap I think. Thanks guys.

Hello everyone Just managed to listen to the complete interview and have to say a huge "well done" to everyone involved This must have been one of the longest interviews Hayley has ever done - and yes, I know there was very little new in it for us but a fabulous "potted history of Hayley" for the vast majority of listeners who don't know her so well done Pat and Becky for a very thoughtful list of questions. The questions that got Hayley talking about baking and weeding the garden with mum would also have given a very good indication as to the down to earth girl that Hayley is. Great question from you too Libby getting Hayley talking about her next album - looks like she is collaboration with, I guess, different song writers/musicians to come up with some new self penned material. I shall look forward to that with great interest. As Martin has already said, it is a real feather in HWI's cap as well as credit to Bandana for supporting it. However, my last comment must be to Joe for the original idea and for seeing it through. You must be very pleased indeed with the end result - what a star! Best wishes Grant

Yeah, I'm so glad I asked that question! I did have others in mind, but I settled on that one.

Hey yall! Didn't get a whole lot of time to chat, but I did get to to enjoy the lilting of Hayley's voice while studying for my English quarter-final. I thought the interview was lovely! Apparently Hayley is a vinyl lover too. i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif Also, I never knew the full story of how she got to Decca (all I'd ever heard was that she got "picked up" by Decca)! Very enjoyable show. Thanks Joe!! You're awesome. -Taylor i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifTaylor, you ought to read Hayley's books, In Her Own Voice, and The World at Her Feet. You'll find out a lot of that kind of thing in these books.

Hi all, This event was way better than I expected! I think the interview was planned to last twenty minutes! And I didn't expect my slightly mispronounced name to be mentioned...or I would have also written Dave's name as well. I was glad they mentioned HWI....I wrote down how to say our website URL...as the show sponsor. My question about the importance of song lyrics vs song instrumentation was wonderfully answered by Hayley! Thank you all for your kind messages. My appreciation of each member runs very deep...it is this love and friendship that I hold most dear. HWI is a team effort. And my support for Hayley is for ever!

Well, Joe, I think you did a brilliant job, both for HWI and its members and for Hayley fans everywhere, and of course for the lady herself.
And I agree, about the love and friendship among HWI folk, and I too know I'll always support Hayley.

I recognized Becky's pronunciation of 'Metti', the rest was a jumble... also 'Paradiso ( long 'I' :/ '...but she got Westenra out perfectly ) Just had another listen...the paid version of the Tune In Radio app lets you record audio for later playback, but it can't be exported. Next week's show ..an interview with Siobhán Owen.

Hi Joe
You can find free apps on the internet for recording radio if you look.
I find Freecorder very good, the current version being Freecorder 6.
As well as audio recording it records video, downloads from YouTube, does screen caps and various format conversions.
Will also add a toolbar to your browser with the various funtions on it.
Thanks for the reminder about Siobhan's interview. I shall try to record that. Note that you can also hear Siobhan every night at 11pm from 22nd October on BBC Radio Wales - her album has been chosen as Album of the Week.
