Hi Gordie!
Great post. I hope Pat will join us on the forum...I know she's visited the HWI website.
The CC Show, in particular, is "our" show...built by its listeners. Just like PBS, these community stations exist due to support of the local area. Any financial contribution they receive is most welcome.

Hi Joe, Wondered if you were the "Joe" mentioned who helped them with that difficult "Italian" name, Siobhan! BobS Does that mean they have discovered Miss Owen? I'm very impressed if they have, she has nowhere near the following of most of the artists they play. Martin D

She's one of my favorites. She certainly deserves the airplay!!

Yes, having bought the album I was very impressed. It is seriously beautiful, I think the best album I have bought this year (and I've bought a few).
If Paradiso was my album of the year last year (and it was), Storybook Journey could be this year's. Siobhan is the most impressive young singer I have heard since Hayley back in 2004.

Tonight's radio show just ended..just one Hayley song was played. "My Heart Belongs To You".
A quick update on HWI's efforts for a Hayley interview...Hayley's manager Valerie will see if Hayley would like to contribute an interview. Also, HWI is sponsoring an entire show devoted to Hayley. Details soon!

I was going to make a request yesterday, but I got lost again. Something looked like it was going to be a repeat of the Jackie interview show, so I ended up not requesting. Oh well, I guess I can't everytime, or they'll ignore me.

Missed out on this one, for the most part. Homework. But it is good to have a break every once and a while. Also, thanks for keeping us updated Joe on that interview/show. -Taylor i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif

♥ "My Heart Belongs To You" is one of my favorite pop Hayley songs! Looks like they haven't posted the last two weeks shows on the site yet...

I have stated before that since becoming a Jackie fan I have expanded my appreciation of Classical Crossover and the artists that dominate. Hayley is such an artist and I greatly appreciate the effort Joe (Administrator) is doing to achieve an interview setup between the station and Hayley. If it happens, I hope that it will be an entire show of Hayley and her music built around the interview. Perhaps if other artists less well known notice then they might be encouraged to provide an interview at some future time all to the one end of boosting station/program ratings and breaking down the walls that try to contain CC artists and music from reaching a great many people that I believe seek change from hip hop and rap.
If it serves to assist Hayley and management to reach a decision, it would not be a falsehood to say that there are a number of Jackie Evancho fans that would also appreciate listening to a Haley interview and a show of Hayley music.

Good to hear, my friend They are taking requests now, on their Facebook Group... I've requested "Da quel sorriso che non ride più" from Paradiso and 'Nearer My God To Thee' from Siobhán Owen.

Joe, I wouldn't count on them playing your choice... they seem pretty reluctant to play anything they can't pronounce! Although they might try Ave Maria or La Califfa, like Taylor requested. La Califfa shouldn't be too challenging. I didn't request because Becky said she has her playlist ready now, and several others requested Hayley, too.

Joe, I wouldn't count on them playing your choice... they seem pretty reluctant to play anything they can't pronounce! Not to worry...when I posted my request on on their FB page, I wrote out how to pronounce the title "da-quell-Sorriso-key-non-riddy-pew" Well done Taylor! Your 'Ave Maria' request was played! And, Taylor, speaking of surprises, my whistling is getting quite loud Hmmm

Darn! Didn't get to listen tonight... Dinner started same time as the show, then mi padre decided to take an entire hour to go over history! Ugh, well, I'll get to listen to it eventually. -Taylor i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifP.S.- Did they play the English "Ave Maria"? If they did, then I'll be very happy. I sent it to them earlier this week with a request for them to play it. Patrice replied saying they would, but it would be nice to know.
