Thank you so much, Joe! That's awesome. I SOOOOO looking forward to that show!! I hope everything works out and we get that interview!!!! It is you, Jenny, who really got things rolling! In fact, you, Libby, and Taylor have done well in submitting music for the CC show. This is a team effort. Well, in that case, GO TEAM!!

And don't forget to make your requests! Paradiso requests would be great, although they have already noted mine that I'd been making the last week or 2, since they only got my gift last week. I'm not sure if they're going by those requests I made, or just by the album gift alone. Just in case, I'm going to include my requests again anyway. Mine were Whispers in a Dream, Amalia Por Amor, and Malena. Once I put La Califfa too. You all can second those requests, or you could choose another song you'd like to hear. From what they said today, though, I'm pretty sure they'll have at least one Paradiso song lined up! So excited!

Tonight's CC show on KITC-FM was outstanding! Two Hayley songs were played... 'The Edge of Love' and 'River of Dreams' The hosts spoke of me (on behalf of HWI), working to arrange an interview between them and Hayley

Hi Joe,
Wondered if you were the "Joe" mentioned who helped them with that difficult "Italian" name, Siobhan! They could have used a little help with "Parad EYE so" also, along with Hayley's last name.

Westernra? Paradeyeso? That made me chuckle! Oh well, I understand. And it was a wonderful show tonight! We had visits from three of the artists played in the show! Pretty cool! Great selection and balence with song/artist choices. -Taylor i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif

Hi Joe -
It will be interesting to watch how your proposal plays out. A step in the right direction. I wish you the best. My money is on the Dave Foster connection for improved publicity of Hayley here. That will be interesting to watch, too.

I'm so glad they played a Paradiso song!! Even if they didn't say it right. LOL I don't suppose they mentioned that the album was a collaboration with Ennio Morricone, like I suggested to them yesterday? If not, at least some of the other people making requests may have seen it. Can't wait for that Hayley interview, Joe!

("...a song by Hayley from the album P....") A little later on, they complained about all the difficult Italian names in music, saying that someday they should have a show with nothing but American names! BobS

Hmm, good grief, if they want to be a classical crossover station, I think they're going to have to get used to the Italian names. I wonder if that's why they chose one of the songs in English songs on Paradiso rather than one of the Italian (or Portuguese!) ones. And what do they consider to be an "American" name, anyway? A song in English? Even though I was slightly disappointed they didn't play one of the songs I (or Taylor) requested, I am very glad they played the Edge of Love. It's such a beautiful, romantic song that certainly deserves to be heard.

Hi Taylor, I'm thinking mid- to late-September which will be recorded for later broadcast. And i'm kinda hoping this will air in our all-Hayley Show. Not sure which Wednesday this will be...sometime in October is likely. All depends on KITC's schedule.

A couple of days ago I had an email chat with Pat Rice about becomming an HWI fan as well as with JEFC. I encouraged her to introduce herself to the folks here to firm up the new link to Hayley fans and hopefully an interview link with Hayley herself. This is all new to Pat as it would be for about 99% of all disc jockies in North America who are basically promoters of hip hop, rap, country and western, R& R and jazz to some extent. Classical is simply music of an audience long forgotten. Perhaps things are about to change if we all collectively get behind one station at a time and make it a success. Maybe our time is arriving and we can re-introduce the young generation to something more enlightening than what they are force fed now. KITC 106.5 FM La Pine OR. Address: Pat Rice, PO Box 2894, LaPine, OR 97739. E-mail: patricevarietyshow@gmail.com Website: www.kitcfm.com/E-mail Pat with your thoughts and suggestions,,,,,,,,,she is very approachable with a lot to learn and understand about what tickles us. Remember, be patient with her this is new.
