Were it not for Hayley's exceptional voice , Hushabye would be a mediocre album. Sure hope the next album is much better. I'm sure it will be.

Surprisingly, Decca still haven't updated their official Hayley website about the Royal baby boy, nor have they yet changed the 'free CD' page, which still says 'July 13th'. hayleywestenra.com/baby/Someone at Decca isn't paying attention, and I find that a bit sad. Dave Hi Dave, But by all accounts, the album has received much better promotion in NZ - maybe due to its exponentially better charting due to Hayley's fame in NZ? Although, I am wondering whether sales have been better in the UK or NZ? While the charting in NZ is much better, the sales volume in the UK (due to population) may actually be higher?? Or maybe not? All we know is that Husbabye sold 3,862 copies in its first week in the UK. Hushabye hasn't gone gold yet in New Zealand which means that sales haven't reached 7,500 copies. I am thinking promo will wrap up soon -- I think the media have over saturated the news so much with the royal couple that people will be rather sick of it all soon.  Were it not for Hayley's exceptional voice , Hushabye would be a mediocre album. Sure hope the next album is much better. I'm sure it will be. Hi Larry, I'm sure everything will be back to 'business as usual' before we know it.  I'm always going to view Hushabye with a level of confusion. |

Guess what!! At last, Barnes & Noble lists Hushabye, by Decca, NOT Universal UK, to be released August 27, and it's only $12.62! www.barnesandnoble.com/w/hushabye-hayley-westenra/26380903?ean=28948103515I have to say I'm a little disappointed that it's not called Dream a Little Dream anymore, but I suppose it's better to avoid confusion. But, they've changed the info so much during the past few weeks, that I wouldn't be surprised to see the other title back at some point. i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif But let's hope the price stays at a reasonable level. $12.62 is actually very cheap for a new album! Probably because it's a pre-order. |

It may have already been asked here, but I didn't see it...I've seen quick little music videos for this new album, which I paid a pretty penny to get shipped over from the across the pond, but as always WORTH IT! Anyone know where to watch the full versions of these videos or where to buy them???

Of course, if she performs any of the Hushabye songs live, and people like me are in the audience, that may change. But of course the quality will be less than professional.

Anyone know where to watch the full versions of these videos or where to buy them??? It's a pity the US release has to be so long after the UK. It causes US fans to get too impatient to wait for the US version, and less likely to support her albums here.  |

Thanks Simba, I do my best. But with a simple camera, with limited sound quality in particular, often used surreptitiously, it is hard to get a decent recording. And you don't get a second chance.

We shall see Libby. The ticket conditions for the Union Chapel say that the use of recording devices is strictly forbidden. But they always say that these days. It is not always enforced.
