Posts moved from the Taiwan Tour thread by Richard.Frank Lin has posted some links to some new articles on Facebook. This one has a promo poster for the tour: ent.southcn.com/8/2013-03/18/content_65595088.htmThis is Ding Yi who Hayley sung with at the Beijing International Film Festival. Here is them singing 'You and Me' (I really love this) www.youtube.com/watch?v=AP6nuGdbLzsFrom what I can gather, they will be performing somewhere on April 29 2013. Cheers, Jillian Edit by Dave: This concert is now confirmed

Hi Jillian, I have found this write up that is referring to the poster. (Google translation) As this looks to be separate from the Taiwan concerts it should probably have its own thread. It is as yet of course unconfirmed by Hayley's management. As what is below is a google translation it may be that the "World tour" refers to Ding Yi only. ent.southcn.com/8/2013-03/18/content_65595088.htm

But, it does mean that Hayley will be joining him in Beijing, right? That's what it sounds like, but these translations turn out so weird.

I always get a laugh reading the translated posts, when you can read both the original post and the translated post. While the overall meaning is there, the individual sentences never comes out right.
The promotions from MNA should help with ticket sales. There are still lots of seats available. Wish I could just fly to Taiwan and attend one of the concerts.

Hello folks! The translation is certainly weird, but it does look as though the concert on 29 April is with Ding Yi in Beijing. When we receive confirmation in English, we can move the relevant posts to a new thread. This link could be useful: theatrebeijing.com/concert_halls/great_hall_of_the_people/Richard

Hi Richard,
Wow that's some venue. 10000 seats. I wonder if they will sell all the tickets. It doesn't look as though tickets are on sale yet.

Hi Richard and all, I know that *something* new is in the air but I don't yet know what, but it (whatever it is) seems to be close to being announced, so eyes peeled! Cheers, Dave

Yes to both actually, in general I do find auto translations to be somewhat inaccurate and I can read Chinese. I was born in Hong Kong and moved to Canada as a child. I am fluent in both. L Hi Leo, Can you read Chinese or is your comment general to translations. Jim

L That is really cool! You'll be quite a help to the forum, since a good bit of the articles, interviews, and such we've been getting lately are in Chinese! -Taylor i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif

No, I think they're just saying that she'll be joining him in the first concert of the tour. I don't know where all he's going, but how big of a world tour can a Chinese classical singer (I assume that's what he is) have? I'm guessing it'll be pretty small. Anyone seen (and understand) any tour dates for him? I'd do a search, but I doubt I'd find anything in understandable English!
