Yes, I've seen that. Going to be cold too I hear. Normally it would be no big deal, but after Sandy has damaged the defences it could be nasty.

So sorry, Libby! I'm just now reading your post about being in Portland for Veteran's Day weekend. If you're going to be at Llyod Center today (Sunday), I'd be happy to meet you there. I can join your sister in the rink; I love to skate! I'll PM you my phone #, so you can text or call if you want to meet up. I'm still really unsure about the trip (no being more likely than yes), but it wouldn't hurt to have met, just in case.

Aside from the fact that it's so close to the concert that I doubt many good seats are left (and all the other reasons I described), the weather and the hurricane situation eliminates the possibility for me even more.
Yes, I was in Portland, but I'm not there anymore. I'm sorry I couldn't have met you. I thought of you while I was there! You wouldn't have been able to join my sister on the ice because she was competing! She got first place... first out of 1 person! Haha.

There might be still others, including some CW crossovers.

I happen to know that someone on twitter, who is from BC, Canada, is also going. Her last name is Corrigan.. I think her first name might be Katherine or Karen,... I think it's Karen.

Kitty I think. Short for Katherine. She tweeted me today. Claims to be DC's biggest Hayley fan in her Twitter profile.
Katherine Corrigan @kittycorr
@martindn1001 @leafphot if it makes her smile, why worry?

I think you mean BC. I may have gotten her name wrong, but I know for a fact she's from BC!

I wrote the head of the organizer for the event and asked if one could bring a camera to take pictures at The Meet and Greet, was informed that one couldn't because of Carnegie Hall's policy. But she did say one could bring their cell phones to take pictures, kind of disappointed in that but she said the present for Hayley was fine and she would appreciate it; hope so and security doesn't deny me bringing it in the concert hall!

Hi Bandit Thanks for the info...bit of a shame that cameras and their photo -taking are not allowed. At least lo-res cellphone pics are allowed. I hope your gift for Hayley will get through security...and that they let her open the gift. Carnegie Hall has other rules in effect... We ask that you please turn off your cell phone and other electronic devices before entering the Hall, and refrain from taking pictures during the performance. Sound recording and taking video is prohibited at all times. Unauthorized photographs, video, or other recordings may be deleted at management’s discretion.
There's no dress code, and we have a coat check. We want you to be comfortable.
Just be considerate of others. Be subtle with perfumes and scents, and please turn off your cell phone and other electronic devices before entering the Hall.
Tapping, humming, and singing along can be lots of fun—but not necessarily for the person sitting next to you. We love to see children in the audience; please remind them that being courteous of others is part of the experience.
If you need any help or have any questions, please feel free to talk with one of our helpful, friendly ushers. And please help yourself to the free Ricola cough drops (remember to unwrap them before the music starts). Enjoy, Joe
