Gillette, though Hayley sings in two breaths, 6+10 secs, it'd have been osmer if it was one 16 sec long, Andrea's note was full 16 seconds. And Dreaming of New Zealand was 19.5, which was awesome! I would love to hear her belt long notes for dramating endings (not for these, these were perfect) Libby: Oh okay, O Holy night when did that happen? XD And I totally agree this has to be her finest performance of the song, though the Andrea + Hayley "combination" is better, Hayley's performance in this was spot on. And the ending usually, in all performances Celine's and all that too, the female voice was intended to be kind of soft, but this sounds so much better! The ending was osm The Harmony at di fraterni 'ta' came out perfectly (everything else was great too).

Yes, everything was simply wonderful! I loved it!! However, I do agree with most people here that the Hayley/Andrea combination was better, but Hayley was just as awesome as always. -Taylor i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif

Here another one from Frank. www.youtube.com/watch?v=5U141YtR9QII've heard Hayley sing Amazing Grace many many times, both live and recorded, but this one is a bit different. And certainly one of her best. Martin D

If it was a full length version of Amazing Grace, I'd agree that's one of her best. I also agree that Andrea Bocelli was her best duet partner in The Prayer, as far as vocal power and skill. However, there was one part in this new duet that I especially liked (besides Hayley's gorgeous singing, of course). I loved the way Fernando sang the part at 4:52-4. It's similar to what Bocelli did, but I liked the way Fernando did it a tiny bit better. I did think that, compared to Bocelli & Groban (and whoever else), his voice was a little dull in the lower notes, and the beginning especially wasn't all that strong, and didn't let the notes last long enough (at the beginning). However, I at least liked this version better than the one with Russell Watson. He made it a bit too choppy in the verses (Hayley didn't, though). The arrangement, I guess you would call it, or the rhythm. I don't know. I'm not well-versed in music terminology. Listening to the duet with Bocelli again, he didn't actually drown her out as much as I thought. I think I was remembering that last note he did that he held for several seconds, but that was after Hayley had stopped singing. I hadn't listened to this one in a while, so that's my excuse. Simba, Hayley recorded O Holy Night and Love Came Down at Christmas for Winter Magic, but they decided that OHN didn't fit! And LCDAC didn't turn out well.

Yes Libby that part was wonderful, another portion where the harmony was perfect. And with Winter Magic? Oh so glad that didn't come with the album then XD....While it was wonderful, I wouldn't have liked O Holy Night if she had sung it like how she sang the rest of the album, so I hope she will rerecord it soon, with all the power she sings songs with these days

Hello Taylor and everybody! Translations from Asian languages are always rather weird. For example, I'm fairly certain 'Figure Modeling' should be 'Role Model', but I'll leave it at that. Richard

Thanks Comet, XD I've seen those videos a lot of times, they're awesome, I've been following Hayley for a little over 3 years so I think I've seen most of her videos I was talking about official recordings of the song

She sang LCDAC on the Winter Magic tour, and it was fabulous. I have a video of her performance on that tour in Peterborough Cathedral, one of my favourite buildings in the world. www.youtube.com/watch?v=e9dLBI-ZirYApologies for the picture quality. It was filmed by candlelight. Martin D
