Where did Susan Boyle come in? Martin D I think they're referring to I Dreamed a Dream, because she became famous by singing it.

Ah yes, I forgot that. There are so many better versions. Even Hayley at 14!

Here's a photo from DF's FB page: Click on the image to enlarge. The rest look like ones we've seen before. I think it's pretty bad when the only good close-up of Hayley is one from behind. Well, at least Jillian can have a look at the back of the dress! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif

Thanks for the rear view of Hayley's dress, Libby! I scaled it to 800 pixels wide in your post, and made it clickable to enlarge. I was puzzled by the reference to Susan Boyle too. Looking closely at the Indonesian text, it would appear that Google Chrome translates "I Dreamed a Dream" as "Susan Boyle", which is a very clever trick - or not! Richard

Actually, the second link starts with I Dreamed a Dream, and when that video finishes, it then goes on to Amazing Grace, and then on to The Prayer. You can hear each song in full this way. The intro at the beginning is kind of interesting too. I know I recognize that first piano song, but I don't know what it's from. I almost want to say my sister danced to it in a ballet class a very long time ago! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif

Hello Libby! David Foster's first piano piece is 'Winter Games' from his album 'The Symphony Sessions'. You can listen to a clip HERE. Richard

No, that isn't the one Richard. I mean the one at the very beginning of the video. At the beginning of the video, it's dark, and the band are arriving on stage. Then they start playing clips of many of his famous songs. One of the very first songs, if not the first, was a slow, soft piano piece (more ideal for ballet). You should find it if you use the 2nd link you gave before, which shows the DF intro + all of Hayley's songs. Maybe I'll just ask my mom if she rememebers what the song was, because I remember she liked it.
