LOL
Yes, comet, you see I learned my lesson with the Northern Ireland documentary. Get it while you can, or you may never have a chance again.

Nice! I've only been able to figure out that you can order the DVD when or if your PBS station shows this. I have no idea what those in other countries can do.

Well, it's over me too! I don't think they're going to show the concert here in central Alabama anytime soon (nor would my parents be willing to let me pay $95 for a DVD). -Taylor i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif

Hi -, Just sat through the Mario show tonight on WGBH TV (Boston). Same show as previously broadcast on WGBX TV but with different pledge drives during the intermissions. Very little of Hayley before. Even less tonight. Heard her name mentioned just once, before their duet. The nice previous intermission piece featuring Hayley - - gone! All pledge intermissions tonight consisted of Mario being asked questions by the announcer, and plugging an upcoming concert in the Boston area this June for which one could get a ticket in response to a very sizable pledge. Sure hope that Hayley gets more publicity in future PBS Mario show presentations around the country. BobS Intermission piece featuring Hayley? Would this have been filmed backstage? There was nothing of the sort when I was at the concert...?

Sounds like PBS don't deserve our support. If they can't treat the finest female singer on the planet with anything but contempt, we should treat them the same way. You don't have to buy their products. Unlike us and the BBC, who at least occasionally feature Hayley.

Martin D I agree they should have at least showed one of the duets, but I think that's a little bit harsh, Martin. Did the producers not invite her to the Memorial Day show to be aired on PBS nearly 2 years ago? I wouldn't call that contempt. And then the Capitol 4th 3 years before that? I would say they like her a little bit. I'm so glad BBC shows Hayley, but that's because she's a little more well-known there, and has more of a market, at least in the record company's/management's eyes. Occasionally is still not very much.

They (the BBC) had planned to feature her today of course. And I'm sure it wasn't their fault it was cancelled, Hayley has been a bit busy recently.

PBS co-produced Hayley's LIVE FROM NEW ZEALAND dvd Oh yeah, see Martin? PBS is not contemptuous. But is it always the same people in charge of every show they make for PBS?

Well, they weren't back then at least Libby/Tim. Just my disappointment that the DVD doesn't feature enough Hayley for my taste I guess. But I'm in a much better mood after this mornings news.
