Hi everyone,
Paradiso has indeed been nominated- I have just voted for it. looks like there could be stiff competition, but lest hope we can get enough people to vote for Hayley- this is easily Hayley's best album in my opinion and definately deserves a classic BRIT!!

I notice Andre Rieu's "and the Waltz Goes On" is also nomimated. Gives Hayley a second chance.
I don't know whether or not I managed to vote. Nothing seemed to happen when I pressed the "vote" button, having "ticked" Paradiso and filled in the form and ticked the terms and conditions box. Perhaps there are still bugs in that page!

I can't vote! I go to Vote Now, click on Album of the year, and it tells me the link is broken!! So upset! And I suppose Hayley didn't make i back from Greece to the nominations this time.

I seem to remember struggling with that website previous years. I still don't know whether or not my vote was counted.

I saw that too!! I wish we could vote for him, too! I finally was able to vote. I originally used the link to the nominations page (like what Sing just posted) via the CBA's facebook page. I clicked on the Vote Now link, and eventually I was led to a broken link. However, the link that Hayley posted on her twitter page led me to the right page. At first, I wasn't able to get the Vote Now button to be clickable, no matter what I did. But then, I tried it in Firefox, and it worked!! I voted for Hayley! All is right with the world! LOL I certainly hope Hayley wins, but it seems she has some stiff competition. Andrea Bocelli, Andre Rieu, the Band of the Coldstream Guards (I believe they won in 2009?), and several newer-looking faces that could easily win. Laura Wright is there, too, but I don't see how her album could compete with Hayley's! Well, we'll see in a little less than a month!

From the preview & poster it does appear that SoY version of Gabriel's Oboe is the one from the mission. Which is really weird, as AFAIK it was not released as a single this year.
Still, whichever it is, let's hope Hayley wins album, at least!
