Hi all! I honestly think that Hayley was the best dressed -- and I'm not just saying that because I am biased! That's a really flattering dress and the colour looks really good against Hayley's complexion. The article from the Daily Mail even says the color of the dress accentuates her eyes! I know! And Hayley got THREE photos in the Daily Mail. That's quite excellent coverage for a publication that usually doesn't mention Hayley much.

Hi Jillian, Libby and all! Two candid photos I took, from a distance, through the crowd at arrivals, as promised: Nite all! Dave

Dave, those are fabulous! A very good close-up of her "other" ring! Thankfully the media supplied the close-up for the more important ring! Nice to see her mum, as well! Jillian, not only were there 3 photos of Hayley, they also said that she gave Myleene Klass a run for her money! Not bad, Hayley!! I'm glad the press thinks so highly of the dress! I admit I had been hoping for a different color, maybe more sparkles, but hey, whatever gets her the attention! And goes nicely with her eyes! I also love her hairstyle this time.

Hi all As I said on the forum's Facebook page, Hayley may not have won an award, but she came top of the list in that dazzling dark-olive dress! Good to learn many from HWI were in attendance ! Dave, great photos! Very good photos as well shared by Jillian and Libby from the various media outlets...just a few had to be links-only (boo Getty's Wire Images!)

Hi All We all had a great evening last night and experienced a wonderful concert. How could it not be with the likes of Andrea Bocelli, Andre Rieu, Russell Watson, Nicola Benedetti, Milos, Andrew Lloyd Webber/Gary Barlow and more performing! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifThere will be more words to follow later but suffice to say that meeting Hayley and her Mum was the highlight. Martin PS Jillian & Libby - Hayley informed us that the dress was borrowed for the evening!

Hi All PS Jillian & Libby - Hayley informed us that the dress was borrowed for the evening! Hi Martin! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif Figured it might be... I think Hayley would borrow most of her dresses for these big events. Because I'd imagine that if she owned the fabulous dresses she's worn to the Classic Brits in the past then they would have appeared more often on stage at her concerts. Don't suppose Hayley told you who designed her frock? I've got a few ideas... Hi all As I said on the forum's Facebook page, Hayley may not have won an award, but she came top of the list in that dazzling dark-olive dress! Good to learn many from HWI were in attendance ! Dave, great photos! Very good photos as well shared by Jillian and Libby from the various media outlets...just a few had to be links-only (boo Getty's Wire Images!) Thanks for changing those links, Joe! In my enthusiasm I completely forgot that the Wireimage photos are part of the whole Getty schmettty thing... Cheers, Jillian

Here is the set list from last night:
- Amazing Grace : Andrea Bocelli (winner of International Artist of the Year)
- "Phantom of the Opera"/"Wishing You Were Somehow Here Again" : Ramin Karimloo & Sierra Boggess (celebrating 25yrs of the musical in the West End)
- Theme from Schindler's List : Nicola Benedetti (winner of Female Artist of the Year). This had to be repeated following acoustic interference during the first recording.
- Race to the end : Russell Watson
interval
- Roses from the South Op.388 : Andre Rieu & Orchestra (winner of Album of the year)
- Spanish Romance/Libertango : Milos Karadaglic (winner of Breakthrough Artist of the Year)
- John Williams medley of soundtrack scores performed by the excellent London Chamber Orchestra (he was winner of the Lifetime Achievement award). The medley included Stars Wars, Superman, ET, Raiders of the Lost Ark and Jaws to name a few.
- "Sing" : The Military Wives, Gary Barlow, Andrew Lloyd Webber (the Wives were winners of the Classic Brits Single of the Year with "Wherever You Are")
Other winners were Vasily Petrenko (Male Artist of the Year), John Williams (Composer of the Year) and Benjamin Grosvenor (Critics Award)
The awards have been dumbed down over the last couple of years (probably due to TV pressure) and now you get a mixture of classics, crossover and "pop". Nevertheless, it was a very enjoyable concert and brought together all these genres seamlessly.
Anecdotes to follow

Thanks for the coverage guys. Geat photos Dave despite the dificulties.
And I agree, Paradso should have won. I own both Paradiso and Andre's album, and I know which one I overwhelmingly play the most frequently. Greetings from the Isle of Wight!

The living award of the entwined hearts and minds of the millions of listeners worldwide who buy her albums, go to her concerts and listen to her music.
