Hi there! I already have an ID on the shoes! They are by Aruna Seth and Hayley wore them to the Aruna Seth party on 9 September 2010. I had always presumed these were loaned to Hayley for the party --- How could she possibly have such a beautiful pair of shoes just sitting in her cupboard without wearing them more!? These are cream ones, without the crystals Hayley's shoes have. www.arunaseth.com/products-page/bridal-heels/nia-frills-gold-and-cream-grosgrain-heel-2/Cheers, Jillian

Back Stage In The Rain
With people already making their way towards cars and taxis – it’s dry at the moment although a bit soggy under foot – a short debate ensued as to whether or not we should attempt to see Hayley at this late hour. She knew we were there, she had acknowledged us as she left the stage after the anthem, perhaps it would be OK to say a quick hello; thank her for a wonderful evening and wish her a safe journey home. This we decided to do and made our way back stage, expecting her to be already back in her dressing room. However, I spied Hayley and Tim near the stage. Hayley acknowledged me with a smile saying she had something to do but would be back.
It was at this point the heavens really opened with rain bouncing several inches off the roof of a 4x4 parked nearby. We found shelter in the open ended marquee used by the orchestra, keeping out of the way whilst they readied themselves for the walk up to the car park and their waiting coach. Reminded me very much of my amateur dramatic days; the rows of tables and half emptied water bottles were everywhere. One of the organisers did ask who we were and I explained politely that Hayley knew we were there and would be coming out to see us eventually. That seemed to satisfy her although she did say that they weren’t supposed to let anyone back stage – I guess everyone wearing the S4C poncho’s made that pretty difficult. She did seem concerned about a lady in a wheelchair wanting to see Hayley whom I recognised immediately as Abigail’s mum. I explained that Hayley would definitely want to see them upon which they soon joined us.
So we were a bedraggled group of eight when Hayley appeared to say hello. It was cold and wet and we knew they were driving back to London so we had to be quick but at least we got to say hi. I wished Hayley well for her forthcoming concerts in Athens and the far east and pointed out that this was the first concert I had attended wearing walking boots. Hayley giggled, proudly pointed down to her muddied wellies (sorry Hayley – gum boots) I have to say they looked good on her. Then she was gone to prepare for the journey home.
It was still raining heavily so we hung around in the marquee until it eased, eventually following the orchestra members up to the car park and our respective vehicles. It was a few minutes to midnight.
That’s the end for you lot but Paddy, Paul and I went back to our hotel for a few glasses of wine – g’nite!

Thanks Grant, for your excellent report.
And me. Well, I drove home. Listening to Hayley like you of course. How could I possiblty listen to anything else? Even if it did cause me to miss the Stoke turn off the M6, and go the long way round, via Birmingham and the M69 instead of the A50. I put it down to that wonderful feeling of contentment that I always seem to have after a Hayley concert (well there was one exception, but i won't go into that).
I got home, to an empty house, a couple of minutes before 2am.

Thanks for the photos, Grant and Martin! That's a very nice new dress! I like the whole outfit! Hey, if I had seen the shoes before Jillian, I would've known which ones they were without looking it up, too! I'm pretty sure I used those in the Shoe poll I did a couple years ago! It's not likely I will have forgotten any of the shoes (or earrings) I used in those polls. Speaking of earrings, those red ones aren't new. I saw her wearing them during the UK tour earlier this year. The silver ones are the ones she wore with her red gown at the CBA launch, among other places. In fact, nothing about her outfit here is completely new except for the dress. As far as we know, she hasn't worn those shoes since the Aruna Seth party. Her hairstyle is a little different, too, and I like that very much, it's very pretty. So, can I have a gold star, too? i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif Jillian's not the only Hayley fashion expert around here! BTW, Martin, that's not hair... it's fringe! Men! I will look forward to seeing any coverage from this when it's televised. I certainly appreciate your video, Martin, but I found it extremely hard to hear her singing. Oh, and I got so excited when I saw that Bridge Over Troubled Water was included in her list, even if it was just for soundcheck. That seems to indicate she's considering singing it at her concerts in the future. Or maybe she just wanted to try it out at this concert, since it's a charity one. I remember I put that song as one of my requests for her to sing, in the thread on this forum, and on the official one.

I remember I put that song as one of my requests for her to sing, in the thread on this forum, and on the official one. Well, it looked like hair to me Libby. I'm not much up on the correct technical terms when it comes to fashion I'm afraid. Didn't realise there was a problem with the sound on the video. I did think about boosting it a bit before upload, but it sounded good enough and probably not worth the hassle. Of course we don't know which ot how many of Hayley's songs S4C will broadcast. They did appear to record them all, even during the soundcheck. But I'd like to ask Dave to keep an eye on the S4C listings for the next few weeks, and perhaps have a go at recording the show if possible. The sound/video quality will be much better than my efforts. As for Bridge Over Troubled Water, yes, I really hope she sings that again sometime. It was a really good performance I thought! Martin D
