Thanks guys, glad you received it and liked it! I hasten to add though, that Jillian did all the hard work, thank you Jillian!  My "editor's job" is much easier but I wasn't the only one to help in crossing the t's and dotting the i's, thanks to the rest of the team too for their help. Hello folks!  One little mistake got through the net. The Queen's Diamond Jubilee Concert in Guernsey is of course on Sunday 27 May 2012, and the event was confirmed by Hayley's management a few minutes after Dave sent out the email.  Richard  |

PARADISO
--------
2011 was a standout year for Hayley. Most significantly, she released her new album 'Paradiso', which is a collaboration with the renowned Maestro Ennio Morricone. The album features songs such as 'Gabriel's Oboe', 'Cinema Paradiso' and 'La Califfa'. Hayley also wrote lyrics for a number of the tracks. The album reached number 1 in New Zealand, causing Hayley have the most number 1 albums of any New Zealand artist. The album also reached number 1 on the UK Classical Chart.

THE RUGBY WORLD CUP

ROYAL VARIETY PERFORMANCE

Hayley was joined by world famous tenor, Rolando Villazon, to perform for Her Royal Highness Princess Anne at the annual Royal Variety Performance in December. Hayley performed 'Whispers in a Dream' and also 'Tonight' from West Side Story.

TAIWAN CONCERT TOUR

Hayley conducted a promotional tour of Taiwan and then a concert tour, in October and November 2011. It is a very exciting time for Hayley's career in Taiwan, as she shot to prominence there following her rendition of 'The Moon Represents My Heart' (in Mandarin, no less) at the World Games in Taiwan during 2009.

US NATIONAL MEMORIAL DAY CONCERT

Hayley returned to the USA in May to perform 'Pie Jesu' at the US National Memorial Day Concert. Hayley's peformance was a perfect finish to the very emotional story of a young woman's quest to learn about her father who was killed in Vietnam .

CHRISTCHURCH
------------
No one can forget that 2011 was also the year that Hayley's hometown, Christchurch, was hit by a devasting earthquake on 22 February, which killed 185 people. Hayley participated in a number of services to remember those lost and her hometown. This included memorial services in London and the memorial service in Hagley Park, Christchurch, which was attended by Prince William.

JAPAN

On 11 March 2011, Japan was hit by a truly destructive earthquake and tsunami which took in the vicinity of 15,845 lives, with thousands more injured or missing. Hayley contributed to the charity album Classics for Japan - Music for Healing - in support of the Japanese earthquake appeals (Japan Red Cross).
