Hi everyone, thanks for the positive comments (so far!). I can't fully explain why some people did not get them, I have to assume that Proboards sent them out to everyone wo is opted-in. Some things to check are your Profile settings in the forum (Mass Emails - opt-in), and that your email address hasn't changed since you first registered or last updated it. Your inbox spam settings can affect it too, as Joe has mentioned in his post above! Meanwhile, for those who did not get it, I will post the newsletter below, immediately following this post. Cheers, Dave

Hello folks! If you find the dotted lines in the email are a different length from the associated text, you can correct this by changing the plain text font setting in your email account to Courier New. You may find this option under Advance Settings. The newsletter should then look like Dave's copy above. Richard

Hi Dave and Jillian, I haven't received the email even though the setting "Mass Emails" on my profile is on "Opt-In"... But I think a newsletter is a wonderful idea! It enables us to have a reminder of all the important pieces of information regarding Hayley's actuality together with those we might have missed. So thank you for putting it up Lots of love, Juliette

I didn't get it, either, but I really have no need of it. I visit the forum everyday that I can, so I never miss anything. Oh, and I also follow HayleyOnline on Twitter, which sometimes gets the news first. So, that's how sometimes I end up posting stuff on the official forum first, and then Richard sees it and posts it here. i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif

Hi Dave.
1. Initiative is good. I have difficulty in keeping up directly and a 'condensation' between times is helpful particularly when there is important advance news.
2. For the record, I did check and I am 'opt in' by default but have not received anything and I did check spam.

...sometimes gets the news first. Hi Libby and everyone, The newsletters aren't intended to be first with the news, but to update or remind members about what's already known. Google Alerts is what's usually first and we aren't going to try and compete with that. Regarding the members who haven't received the newsletter, we will do another one soon and I'd be interested to see then if there is any change in those who did and didn't get the first one. Cheers, Dave

This is such a great idea! Often I get too busy to check in on here or just plain forget (I know I know, I'm too young to be losing my mind! lol). I check my email everyday so a newsletter is a PERFECTO idea

Eek! just noticed that was my 200th post! Not that impressive compared to some of the other members here but it's the most I've ever made on a site

Hi Jillian, Dave and everyone Issue 2 of the HWI Newsletter popped into my in box at 3.25 this arvo i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif Came to the correct place this time too! I think the newsletters are an excellent way of reminding everyone what's been happening and this latest one in particular neatly collects important links and videos into one place. I'm sure this will make it easier for those wanting to find things rather than having to trawl through all the different threads which can be very time consuming. Well done guys! Best wishes Grant

Hi -
Just received Newsletter #2. Am surprised because I did not receive letter #1. This #2 is a great piece of work. Thanks for the idea and effort. A very nice addition.
