Hi there! It is also here too! www.bjiff.com/20120428/n341975532.shtmlWow! That was fantastic! Quite a distinctive performance from Hayley. Is it that she's singing deeper than she usually does? I love it. This song really suits Hayley! Cheers, Jillian

Did anybody record the duet. I missed most of it live, and just caught the end. Successfully recorded My Heart Will go On, but it looks as if there are plenty of other recordings around.
And yes, I think she performed it brilliantly. Less power than Celine's version, but it almost felt as if that song was made for Hayley I thought.

That is a very beautiful performance. Did you see the look on Ding Yi's face as Hayley was singing. He looked totally Hayleywowed to me.
And yes Jillian, I'm sure that photto was the duet. You've seen the red dress she wore now, so I expect you've worked it out for yourself.

Hi Jillian and everyone Yes, an outstanding performance and I think you're right Jillian, there were some quite low notes. I love Hayley's version of this song - as we suspected, she hasn't tried to copy Celine but created her own sound. Loved her facial expression during the closing vocalese. WOW! I thought the duet was wonderful too i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifBest wishes Grant

She did amazing! I'm not so sure that the "whereEVER you are" notes really suited her voice that well, but that's just because she's not Celine Dion. She doesn't have a powerhouse voice like Celine does. I wonder if she had somehow made the notes softer, not tried to be powerful, maybe it would've been better for her, but she still did really well. She did as best as she could. Here's that last photo again, but I managed to make it so she looks normal, not all narrow, LOL: I made it smaller in the official forum, and when I copied it from there, and pasted back over here, the normal flatness translated over to here. I wonder if anyone knows what I'm talking about. Anyway, it looks better now than it did on the last page.

Okay, here's the small version of the photo I was talking about: The only way to make it bigger is to click on it on the website, and it comes up, but when it does, it loses its jpg format. Oh and of course, now there are a bunch more photos posted there, but the same problem. If I try to post them all here, they'll be too small, so it doesn't seem worth it. So if you would like to see them, go to here for the time being: hayleyonline.net/index.php?page=galleryview&n=BeijingfilmfestivalHopefully somebody will find them wherever he found them, and can post them here.

Spiderman, on Hayleyonline has found some press reports (about 100 he says). Most seem very similar. They are very favourable. Like this one
The closing ceremony is the most striking is that on the stage five face a giant multimedia screen, the British Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and Hayley the Witherspoon Tela (inset) in the scene under the re-interpretation of "My Heart Will Go" extremely shocking force.
The Beijing News News last night, the Second Beijing International Film Festival held in the Olympic Park Celebration Plaza, a grand closing ceremony and movies concerts Lu Wei, the Beijing Municipal Committee Publicity Department, the Deputy Mayor for the closing ceremony speech, the British Royal Philharmonic Orchestra led by interpretation of the "Star Wars" "Hero," "Assembly", "Titanic" and other songs of more than 20 pieces of Chinese and foreign classic movies, nearly 3000 domestic and foreign guests and the audience to attend the scene for the festival draw under the satisfactory conclusion of the New Zealand soprano Hayley and the tenor Ding Yi choral Beijing Olympics theme song "You and Me" has become the scene of the biggest bright spot.
Chinese and foreign film music pavilions
"Conclusion" of the Second Beijing International Film Festival, the movie in concert last night in the Olympic Park can be described as brilliant, led by a huge lineup of the British Royal Philharmonic debut, under the leadership of conductor Michael Schill, played more than 20 pieces of classic and foreign film songs. First staged is recorded by the British Royal Philharmonic Orchestra to participate in "Star Wars" "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone" and several Hollywood blockbusters, music and theme song for the concert into authentic British style In addition, the British Royal Philharmonic Orchestra played the "Lord of the Rings" and "Avatar" "Mission Impossible" "The Pianist" "007" many different styles of the soundtrack and theme song, as well as the Indian film "homeless", Yugoslav film "The Bridge", the Japanese film "witnesses" to the Chinese audience familiar classic movie tracks in Asia.
"My Heart Will Go" was re-interpretation of
In addition to the portrait of playing of the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, a number of Chinese and foreign singers sing the evening concert, an important Aspect. The concert halfway through last year to help out concert Bocelli 2011 Miracle of the New Zealand soprano Hayley Witherspoon Tela "leading role" on stage, live accompaniment in the British Royal Philharmonic Orchestra under sang the classic theme song of "Titanic" "I Heart Will Go On Hayley wearing dressed in golden Bra-style knee-length fishtail skirt that night, with a beautiful blond complement each other, and made it very tender and charming on the stage, and her singing affectionate, elegant, with the British Royal Philharmonic Orchestra passionate and elegant performances, won the warmest applause of the audience.
End of the concert, Hayley put on dressed filled with a big red dress of the "Chinese style" to return to Taiwan again to sing the Beijing Olympics theme song "You and Me" and the tenor Ding Yi finale, melodious singing and the Olympic Plaza building, the lights off each other, deeply infected with the audience, guests, many viewers with Hayley and Ding Yi sing together, the whole scene became a sea of music.
Sometimes these automatic translations get things right. Hayleys rendition of "My Heart Will go On" was described as
"very tender and charming on the stage, and her singing affectionate, elegant"
Couldn't have put it better myself. That's jhow she made it different from the iconic version of the song by Celine Dion, which I'm glad she didn't try to compete with.
And as for the duet, I loved
"the whole scene became a sea of music"
what a lovely description.
