Just a quicky in passing as I am currently travelling. Northampton and Bournemouth were superb not just for Hayley who was sans pareil throughout but the wonderful camarardarie of Haylians with whom time was shared.

I'm not the expert that Jillian is on fashion, but I wouldn't call a long-sleeved dress a summer dress... too hot for summer! Maybe a spring dress, since it has pastel-colored flowers on it. Haven't heard of Irish/UK weather? Neat little categories can be subject to infinite variations. Oh for your summers ..... Paddy Oh yes, I have, and I've also heard about and experienced Pacific Northwest weather, so I know what you mean. However, although some summers I've experienced in the Seattle area have been a bit on the cool & cloudy side, it's usually still muggy and humid. It's rarely cool enough for long sleeves... at least not me! Anyway, I've seen Hayley wearing sun dresses (real summer dresses) in summer, in the UK, so it must be warm enough for that sometimes.

Thanks for the great photos, Grant and Martin! And Grant, the longer you spread out the photo-posting, the better. That way, there's more to look at on the forum while we're waiting for the next new Hayley-happening. So, feel free to take your time! I stand corrected. Martin D Brace yourself, you're about to be corrected again, on 3 counts... well, maybe 3 1/2. i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif1. The song Le Note del Silenzio was on Treasure, not Odyssey. 2. Hayley did not sing it with Andrea Bocelli, therefore he did not drown her out. (This one's the 1/2). Her duet partner in the recording was Humphrey Burney (Berney?), who I believe is from the band Blake... and he also did not drown her out. Not in the least. I think he was a great choice, because he sang well, but Hayley's voice was still the more prominent one, in my opinion. Both their voices seemed equally audible, but his was soft enough (compared to other tenors) that Hayley was not overwhelmed in the least. 3. Hayley brought back Never Saw Blue a lot sooner than a few months ago... more like a few years! I'm pretty sure she brought it back in 2009. There are videos from Drew and AJ Moore to prove it, from either Sept. or Oct. of that year.

Thanks Martin for all the wonderful photos and your written report, with plenty of interesting background, Locks and chains Leaflets and posters with dates on them, other concert goers, makes the pictures more fascinating and gives it a context in time and place. One must watch out for reflecting surfaces in the background, windows, acrylic displays etc. that send the flash straight back into the lens, but sometimes we just take the shot, often with fascinating results. Thanks to all the HWI members, Joyce, Julliette, Dave, Grant, Graham, Jeff, John H, Karsten, Paddy, Peter, Richard, Thomas, Steve H, (Sorry if I have left anyone out) for their wonderful coverage of this tour in words and pictures.

Both Odyssey and Treasure have duets at Track 2. Perhaps that's why I cinfused them, the one on Obyssey being "Dell Amore Non Si Sa" with Bocelli. As for Never Saw Blue, yes, it was a year or two ago it came back. And it might come back again later tonight. Martin D

Phew. It took 2 hrs 15 minutes to upload this to YouTube. But here is my video of Hayley's latest live performance, her final encore at Bournemouth last Thurday 8th March. Hope you like it. youtu.be/3xIZuHSC5-AThe expressions on the face of the woman violinist behind Hayley are almost as interesting as Hayley's expressions. At times she seems to be almost in tears. But she keeps her playing together like a rue professional. And now, to bed - work tomorrow! Marrtin D

Thanks for the wonderful video, Martin D! I've posted it on our Facebook page together with your video of 'Sonny' from Northampton and Steve's video of 'I Dreamed A Dream' from Southend. YouTube videos seem to be the most popular posts with our followers, possibly because they play directly on the page. Best wishes, Richard
