Hi everyone, We can discuss in this thread Hayley's Concert at Bournemouth - Pavilion Theatre on Thursday 8th March 2012. This is part of the Hayley's UK Paradiso tour, as published by Ticketline and Hayley's official website today. Please discuss anything about the tour as a whole in the main thread entitled UK Paradiso Tour Feb/Mar 2012 - General Thread. Dave

Good heavens Dave and everyone.
It seems I am the first to post on this thread after Dave set it up.
I am already in E25--but of course we don't know if any in front of me have been reserved for special purposes/allocations as opposed to people just getting there before me. Bournemouth has a pit and I wonder if the orchestra will use it or if she will have the orchestra on stage with her. I suspect the latter, so are they able to give her a bridge or can they fill the whole pit in?
I'm once more getting the Hayley buzz! Oncoming winter does not now seem so bad. Hayley is there in the spring. How advanced or behind it will be we won't know until we get there but those travelling from abroad prepare for any type of weather and always travel for both extremes. The weather can change dramatically over twenty-four hours.
Dave will know the details better than I but I guess this part of the tour is for final boost opportunities for award ceremonies and being south even worst weather should not be too bad. Perhaps more concerts will be announced for the summer for more northern climes?
I am preparing the ground for a possible short spring break before the Easter hotel rates go up and holding open the possibility of a northern tour for the summer.
Just some general thoughts
Peter S

Hi Peter I am already in E25--but of course we don't know if any in front of me have been reserved for special purposes/allocations as opposed to people just getting there before me. Did you book through Ticketline Presale? Yesterday it would only offer me Row U so I gave up. I rang the box office and have secured E22 after a bit of negotiation as tickets don't actually go on general sale until tomorrow. Any thoughts on where you might stay? Best wishes Grant

They were selling direct on phone no problem when I rang this morning but no tickets will be sent out for a month. 2. Not thought of hotels for the moment. Possibly walking distance subject to cost although at that time of night midweek parking may not be a problem. Just in the middle of a lot of messy bits at the moment. Easter is some way away so don't envisage a need for urgency but then it is Hayley and the last (announced) UK appearance. Peter S

I got quite excited last night when I found Ticketline offering me seat A20. Rushing through the registration and booking process in the not over-generous 7 minute time window, it was only just too late that I noticed it was for the circle; not the stalls . I rang their customer services this morning and they kindly agreed to change it, so I now have stalls C11 . I was told they had no seats in the central stalls block. Maybe those are allocated to another agency or the theatre itself.

0844 5763000 is supposed to get you through to the box office and I've just been to see them and FRONT SEATS IN THE STALLS ARE STILL AVAILABLE so I don't know why fans are being offered seats in row E. They told me booking opened on Wednesday for "fan clubs only !" I've never liked online agencies. Even if you get a front seat you're still a little way back from the stage due to a wide orchestra pit. Some of you may remember Jill hid there to take photos on the Pure Tour.
As you say Peter, the winter will seem more bearable now we know Hayley is at the end of it. There is a hotel opposite the Pavilion in Westover Road but it's a bit pricey. At the other extreme, there's a youth hostel in the same road ! A friend who came to see Camilla last year stayed in the Premier Inn but it's a good 12-15 min walk away and up a hill.

Yes Peter, the last 2 shows she did here both sold out.

I booked by phone yesterday and yes, there are seats on the front row but only in the side blocks. Anyone wanting "central seats" were being offered row E. I actually found the box office very helpful and accommodating. Best wishes Grant

Well I got A21 and A19 was still available about 30 mins ago, both in the centre at the front but maybe personal callers get preference ?

I was offered B19/20 in the stalls. I actually booked A36/37 in the front row of the circle, since this is a better location for photography should it be possible. I booked online direct from the theatre rather than through ticketline or else where.
It is getting complicated, since we now have a total of 14 concerts booked between now and the end of March (only 2 of them Hayley). We have to be careful about date clashes! And Sue was at work last night and then sleeping this morning, so it meant we were a bit slow deciding which one we could do (apart from Northampton, which I booked a while ago).
There are certainly lots of good seats still left.

Hi Martindn.
Ditto. I am also for Northampton and then Bournemouth intending to have a weekend with friends in Taunton and possibly further south-east dependent upon the weather and the advancement of spring. Grant I gather is going to all of them!
Any thoughts on a Bournemouth hotel yet? I haven't taken a breather to work it out yet.

Hi Peter,
Not thought about hotels or guest houses. Not certain but we might use the campervan - there is a Caravan Club Certificated Location only 4 miles away. Mind you last time we did that for a Hayley concert it snowed!!! And that was April!
But it depends on several things, like how things work out with our new van, which we hope to get later this month (hence not being able to go to the concerts in Wales). I think there is plenty of time - I doubt things will be fully booked at that time of year.
