Hello Jillian Your photos are fantastic and I really enjoyed looking through them. Those of you and Nadia with Hayley are fabulous - soooo glad you got to meet with and talk to her. Will get around to your videos eventually - having a pretty busy weekend and, from what I gather from coments from those who've already watched them, I'm going to need time to watch more than once! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifBy the way, how did the horse riding go? Hope you didn't end up falling into a bed of thistles like I did LOL! Best wishes Grant

Thank you for the videos Jillian! They're awesome, and it's also great I can hear them properly thanks to new hearing aids and wax-free ears lol! .I particularly love Vivo Per Lei, Chase has a great voice, in a way I think he compliments Hayley better than Rhydian although their voices are pretty similar too... Can't wait for more! best wishes Sing

He looked really excited to be there and I think it really showed in his performances. I remember the first time they sung Vivo Per Lei in Auckland it was so good I was pretty much holding my breath the entire time! :rollin My Heart Belongs to You went down a storm too! Hayley sings it with so much power. I'll get on with my next ones then... i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif Cheers, Jillian

Thanks for those videos Jillian. Fantastic. Two wonderful performances by Hayley, and Chase wasn't bad either! If David Sell sat through that and was not moved I really don't think he has a soul! And Peter, I wasn't depressed so much as angry, since even before I saw the videos, I knew Hayley had given a wonderful performance. One I would loved to have seen myself. She deserved at the very least to have been reviewed by someone with some understanding of her music. The injustice of it all made me angry rather than depressed, because I know what it is like to be at a Hayley concert, and I also know that she is very consistent. Hayley had sung her heart out I'm sure, and been vilified for it. Next time The Press wants a review of a Hayley concert, I'll be happy for them to fly me out to Christchurch to attend the concert and write a proper review. I won't even charge them for my time (but will expect expenses). And as a foreigner, I will naturally be less sycophantic than a New Zealander would be. I'll even do it in competition with David Sell - publish both and see who gets the most positive votes... Jillian, I have linked to these on Hayleyonline.com. Hope you don't mind. Martin D She just gets better and better.

I have posted the following on the comments section in thepost's "review of the review"
"Well, someone sending that in the post was well out of order. But so are comments like "but then again I would rather lick the inside of a toilet bowl than attend one of her concerts" You immediately convey the message to your readers that should i review Hayley, ignore me, because i hate her. As does David Sell. But here's an idea for everyone reading the comments. Forget this article, forget David Sell's article and ignore all the reviews of any artist, be they good or bad. Do a search online for the artist in question and look at a few videos of said artist on youtube. Then listen to the opinion of the only person who's review really matters. Your own."

I'm aiming to have 'La Califfa' uploaded tonight! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif I also have recordings of Who Painted the Moon Black, Mummer's Dance, Prayer, I Knew I Loved You, Wuthering Heights and Amazing Grace. Any preferences as to what order I upload them in? I also have a video of one of Chase Douglas' solo performances - Per Te - which I'm sure Libby will like to hear (as it's one of Josh Groban's). Cheers, Jillian

Hi all,
Just a gentle reminder that we've moved on from discussing David Sell's review.
Have a great day, Joe

Hello Jillian! Thanks for the video of 'Vivo Per Lei'. As you said on Facebook, it's definitely one of the best performances of this song. Hayley and Chase work together so well. Best wishes, Richard I agree! Chase has a very good voice! I'm always a little skeptical about male singers singing Josh Groban songs, but more recently, these guys have been impressing me more than I expected to be. I think I'll keep this version in favorites instead of the other recent one. i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif

That was an absolutely stunning performance! Thanks for the quick upload! So Hayley didn't move around the stage for any song? Like she did in some of the old performances?

Hi Simba, It's great, isn't it? i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif And that's only a recording done on my regular camera (not even a proper video camera with a proper microphone) so you can imagine how incredible it would have been to see and hear her in the flesh. Hayley did move around in some songs (my video of I Knew I Loved You is a bit awkward because of that ) But kind of thankfully for some of my videos, she remained on centre stage for some songs. Cheers, Jillian
