First of all - thanks for the report an pictures from yet another fantastic concert! You all appear to be having an absolute ball over there in Kiwi land - including our adorable Hayley - and well deserved it is too Jillian: nice to see pictures of you and your friend Nadia enjoying your time with Hayley - I guarantee you will never forget your first time and I'm so happy for you to have had the opportunity to see and hear Hayley live and to have been able to meet her. Martindn: Your comment has appeared - I have also responded. I am thoroughly sick and tired of reviewers like Sell. We would be better served if they were made to clean toilets for a living! His popularity on Twitter is down the toilet too!! Best wishes Grant

HaHa! I think she can look after herself Martin - her tweet and the link to the article has elicited close to a hudred "anti Sell" responses on Twitter However, I'm sure Hayley would appreciate us showing our support by adding a comment - I have Best wishes Grant P.S. Happy Birthday for tomorrow! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif

Hi Ross Many thanks once again for another fabulous report and photos! That card with HWI and others' kind words and wishes was excellent! In the one photo of Jillian's friend Nadia, one can see Gerald, Isaac and Sophie chatting to a well-wishing fan! That write-up of in The Press by "reviewer" David Sell is not in any singer's best interest. If he is against Hayley then he must be against the people of Christchurch. Some of the comments are also cruel to Hayley. I've tried to post a comment on that site but it said I've already done so??? Mr Sell, your sell-by date says 1981...get back to it. Here's his photo for your dart-board... www.music.canterbury.ac.nz/people/sell.shtml Thank you Ross...your reports are way better than that reviewer's stitched-together rag.

Why are we even dignifying the Sell sideshow? He's clearly a malcontent who must live with the embarrassment of being himself. Thankfully, Hayley's contribution to culture is happening in a separate universe to his, a far better one for it.

Thanks, Dori! That's weird, the url code is the same for all the photos, so when I copied it from the others, and pasted it here, it was just the first photo that you already posted. Oh well.

Thanks again for your report and photographs, Ross! In case you're wondering, I've posted the link on our Facebook page. David Sell should be shot, to put him out of his misery! Richard

David Sell should be shot, to put him out of his misery! Richard Haha, no I think we need some insane people around to remind us that we are sane. I've also added my thoughts to the article on stuff.co.nz (assuming it passes moderation )

Hi everyone!! Clearly, the bug that is up Mr Sell's rear must have grabbed the stick that was up there and is beating him with it. I guess take some comfort that while the rest of us were having an awesome night, he was sitting there being sour. Christchurch was fabulous - Hayley's rendition of Amazing Grace just blew me out of the water. Anyone who was there knew and saw what a good concert it was. We were seated next to two ladies who were remarking the whole way through just how good it was. We were also discussing how cute Chase Douglas is... but that's another story! Looking forward to doing a proper review of the concert when I get back to Australia. Wish I could stay longer in New Zealand, but tomorrow is my last day. Unfortunately I'm remembering that I have some sort of inconvenient job to go to! Funny how you forget about your normal life when you're having so much fun! I have some fabulous videos to share with you all! I got videos of Prayer, Who Painted the Moon Black, My Heart Belongs to You, Mummer's Dance, Wuthering Heights, La Califfa, Per Te (by Chase), Vivo Per Lei and Amazing Grace! The only one I wanted that I didn't get was I Dreamed a Dream! But I was too mesmerised to get that one! It's been stuck in both Nadia and I's heads all day! So if anyone gets a chance to get I Dreamed a Dream, that would be fab - but no pressure! I know how hard it is! Hopefully I will be able to share the videos with you all over the next week or so when I've had time to edit and upload. This will probably be by the time the tour has wrapped up, so it won't spoil the surprise for anyone who is yet to go. Nadia also has some great photos to share with you all! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif Hopefully she'll be able to post them for you over the next week or so once we've settled back into things at home. It was great meeting all the HWI members again! Will talk more soon!! Cheers, Jillian

Hi Jillian So sad that you are leaving out waters! But make sure to come back and visit us here in the Land of the Long White Cloud... Have a safe trip back to Aus, and we can't WAIT for those videos. Dori

Probably too late now but that key paragraph of your concert report should be emailed to Sell's newspaper, particularly your comment on other people, Jill. When I hear other people making comments I always report as that helps to add objectivity to one's own opinion.
I am glad you had a good trip over and although it is still a long way, I hope you will be able to make it again when Hayley's performing. I wish i could, but then, I haven't made her Irish visits yet and that's closer still to me!
We look forward to your videos and well done for being able to do it.
Safe journey and thanks for your sharing.
Peter S.

Interesting that dress. Why is its colour called 'nude'? Yes, her skin is alabaster and it tones with that beautifully but I always thought that sort of dress colour was referred to as 'champagne' much more dignified for Hayley. Peter S.
