Wonderful photos Graeme! And the same to Jillian's friend Nadia! Might I ask, Graeme, what kind of camera you have? And what type of settings you used? I'm in the market for a new digital camera you see. Dori's photos were great too, and I'm interested in a camera's features/quality

(fz50 is one of them) Has a Leica zoom lense. Settings are anything you want but automatic does a great job. Antishudder. Bulky but that helps to reduce blur. My first use of the camera was Hayley's Readings concert Melbourne May 2007. Graeme

Marianne & Hayley perched up on the desktop. Here she's confirming with Marianne my name is spelled "eme"And I do believe that finishes my photo record of the fabulous Christchurch Concert 2011. Anybody who needs the large size pics (2560pix x 1920pix) just send me a PM. They're usually ~ 2Mb. Graeme

Jillian, I don't suppose you got any more of Chase's performances on video? I'd be interested in hearing them if you did.

Jillian, I don't suppose you got any more of Chase's performances on video? I'd be interested in hearing them if you did. Sadly, no I didn't!!! Really wishing I had! I only chose to do one song of his because I didn't want to run out of battery or space on my camera (which I almost did by the end of the concert!). But now I wish I had as his performance of 'You Raise Me Up' was really something! It's that balance between wanting to enjoy the concerts and also keep a memory of them. During the concert I was saying to myself, 'don't take too many videos - just concentrate on enjoying it' Which was a good idea - but now that it's over, I want more videos!! I think we need to petition Chase to get a handycam and maybe make some homemade videos himself and put them onto Youtube! Cheers, Jillian

Thanks Jillian and Graeme.
Yes, Jillian, I understand you dilemma very well. You only get one shot at a song, and you have to choose which ones to record. Sometimes you miss rrally memorable ones, and I have to say sometimes the results are not very goo - I have several videos myself that will never see the light of day for that reason. But then some poor photographic efforts I have made are of such brilliant performances that I upload them anyway.

Hi everyone! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif The next video... MASSIVE thanks go to Nadia for the camera work on this! Right before Amazing Grace started my camera was dangerously low on battery, so Nadia grabbed hers (fortunately we have identical cameras ) and took this footage. I went around to her house last weekend to look at our photos and she showed me her video - it was so good I almost fell off my chair! Thanks, Nadia! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif Nadia says 'Hi' to everyone she met at the concerts and wanted me to say how much she enjoyed meeting all the HWI members. Amazing Grace was the final encore and it was one of my favourites of the entire concert. Words can't express how moving it was to see this live in concert. Hayley sang it with so much passion. Many thanks to Nadia for her superb camera work, and to Jillian for uploading the video to YouTube. I've posted it on our Facebook page, of course. Richard
