Hello,
I was very excited about this mail, too. However, like many others, I get the black screen plus circle, either. Obviously these are flash videos. My first thoughts were tracking protection plus pop-up blocker, but switching them of did not help either.
I tried IE, FF and Safari with the same result. Would be great if anyone managed to solve this.
One million thanks, Michael

...I mentioned in my earlier post the problem with the newspapers and I think that is a shame. It is good to see the layout and to understand the splash they gave their article but a plain text readable version as well would have been marvellous. Peter S. Hi Peter and everyone, If anyone wants to see and read larger versions of the articles, I suspect they (and many more) are all in the HWI archives (Media Scans, scroll down) and many are on the new site, in Jillian's recently created Photo and Scan galleries. Noting the date of each scan should enable you to find them OK. Some of the videos seem to be OK intermittently to watch now, I just watched Both Sides Now but I can't watch it again... very odd. Cheers, Dave

i've just had a look at the timeline - i think it is a really good idea they should share it more accessible to others- it might be useful to promote Hayley... I think there is a lot more that could/should be on there though-hopefully there will be more... The videos arent working very well for me either- I can hear the audio but just get a black screen :/ Sing

I had quite a long, frustrating time getting this thing to work. In order to see more than just a few items from 2011, I had to keep zooming out. This was the only way I could get any farther, and then everything got so ridiculously tiny. But then I discovered if I zoomed back in while I had one of the videos, etc. up, then it got bigger. Then, when I clicked out of whatever I was viewing, the timeline moved along, and now I could see it better. However, it kept randomly switching back to something I'd already seen, or going much farther ahead. I was also confused why the 2004 CBA photo was in with the 2006 part. I eventually quit, it was just taking so long, and I already was familiar with most of it. It ended up being quite a waste of time. If it hadn't been so hard, of course I would've like to see more, but it just was not worth it. I found the "secret" objects, but was disappointed that they provided no information on where these concerts were. I assume they're just in the UK, but I thought this would show the actual tour dates! Oh well, I can't go. The videos were difficult; I could never get the UNICEF one to work right. Either I couldn't see anything except the one photo, or I couldn't get it to even close, and kept on playing anyway, with nothing to be seen. The One Fine Day one worked eventually, but the way some of you were talking, I was expecting the whole song. It wasn't much longer than the one I'd seen before. They worked better and faster in Firefox, but then, I could never get beyond the Whispers one. Zooming out didn't do any good there. FF is not all it's cracked up to be, in my experience.

Hello folks! I received the Timeline by email yesterday. I also found the hidden competition, but I won't be entering. Richard

Hi Dave and everyone. Your interaction was precisely what I was implicitly asking for! I thought we probably had most of them somewhere! Perhaps we should try and promote this more through a tweet? Peter S. Addendum: I have now tweeted Dave's info so if we all do it we will help spread the word. I am about to do the same on Facebook. My error is that I think of forum and don't, unless prompted, think of what else is there. Sorry guys. Your work really is appreciated it's just being preoccupied but there is much to wallow in on this site when one has the chance to idle more than a few moment.

Why, Richard, afraid you have an unfair advantage?

Libby: You must select the "TimeLine" tab instead of Main Menu, and then move the slider, it's very simple....XD

Hi Simba
Thanks for the link. Everything is visible/audible to me with Firefox 5.0. DownloadHelper also allows downloads of the videos, audio and jpegs.
Thanks Tony

Well you all are complaining about if it works. How bout not getting it I am done with this stuff I should be able to get emails but i don't. I remember the old official forum I could not sign up to for over a year! then just when i could they start another one. I have never received any email newsletters or anything else. I know my email works because I get the emails from the forum news board. I feel left out again! And no its not in my spam and I have used many emails over the years nothing works I have signed up on the website and on the link on FB and before you all tell me its my fault again, its not I know how email lists work. The only way someone does not get it after signing up if it has been deleted, Since this email seems to have reached us in the USA all I can say is I do not intended to get my hopes up any more. Frustrated in the USA

The videos seem to be working now! And it is a fabulous thing. Have just spent a happy hour exploring it, and I could spend much longer I'm sure. Happy memories, but as we know, so much is missed out. Most of that is here on HWI, you just have to dig a bit.
This is a wonderful intro for somebody new to Hayley. All it nneds is a link to HWI so that they can explore further. I don't know how anybody could look at that and not be impressed.
Well done Decca.

Frustrated in the USA Hi Starbuck, My email never arrived either, well, it did and it didn't. Although I "see" its title "The Purest Voice In The World", the email arrived yesterday and is still stuck in my quarantine folder. I've released it, so hopefully it will arrive tomorrow so I can see what this thread is all about ~ Joe

Libby: You must select the "TimeLine" tab instead of Main Menu, and then move the slider, it's very simple....XD Oh, really? I DID, and it didn't help very much. It still had problems moving on to the next thing, in order! I am capable of reading, and it's not the first time I've ever used a computer. It's not my fault if my computer doesn't handle weird things like this very well! As I said, I even tried it in Firefox. That usually helps, but this time it was worse.

Libby: I'm really sorry, I only said that because at start, I didn't realize there was a timeline tab and was using Ctrl+ - to see the rest...and then figured I was being silly. Didn't mean to offend you or treat you as if you didn't know how to do it. BTW did you try it in Chrome?
