Hayley's official site has been updated with a list of upcoming events[/url]. Nothing really new except maybe a venue planned in New Zealand on April 24th. Does anyone know what "Dancing with the stars" is? A concert, festival or maybe a TV show?

Hi Stephany,
Apparently, 'Dancing With The Stars' is a television programme in NZ; the equivalent of a UK programme called 'Strictly Come Dancing'. Numerous celebrities from the world of sport and entertainment are each paired with a professional dancer. I believe Hayley is to be a judge. Is that right, Belinda?

Hello Stephany and Roger! This sounds interesting, so I'm hoping somebody can record it for us, please! As this is a TV programme, this thread should be here on the Media board, so now it is! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifBest Wishes, Richard

This is going to be very interesting!!!! Oh my gosh, i can't wait!! Dori Ditto! Being that Hayley is such a sweet person, I wonder if she'd be able to give a bad score if a couple deserves it? We have Dancing With The Stars in the US too. I watched the first two seasons like a hawk, but then kinda tapered off. After my new (fantasy) love of my life Stacey Keibler performed (sorry Hayley ), nothing else could compare!! Somebody bring me a glass of cold water, please! Russ

Yeah, I've seen this show in the US. But I'm wondering...Does Hayley really have enough time to be a judge on this show? She'd have to take off at least ten or eleven weeks! It would make more sense to me that she do a one-time performance on the show. Like three days ago Josh Groban sang for two of the professional dancers on this show.

I think it is more a question of exposure. 11 weeks on a wider than normal audience brings general prominence. But then, once they've heard her sing.... WOW!, If its nearer the end when more people usualy watch having caught on to the finalists...?
I've thought of this with the Torville and Dean 'Dancing on Ice' on ITV1 in the UK. She can skate so would have a slight initial advantage and at the rate this girl learns... More particularly she'd push her limits hard from the beginning.
But I think she has more ground work to concentrate on for the moment in getting really established in her singing before side-tracking further, except that I am sure she would have a really great deal of fun and that's what she deserves. It would be a hard-working good break for her.

Cathleen, you're probably right. You can see the name of the judges HERE and Hayley isn't listed among them. She will probably perform once!

Maybe she will be a guest judge for the night?? With a bit of singing on the side?? You can't have Hayley on a television programme without asking her to sing...besides, this would be a good oppurtunity for her to promote her album in NZ while she's here! Dori

Thanks for the heads up, Belinda. Hayley has a nice range of new songs from her new album so it will be interesting to see which song she picks.

That's really neat!
I wonder if she won't choose the song, but give the dancers a list of songs to choose from (because if the show is anything like it is in the US they've got to do dances such as the mambo, quick-step, tango etc.) and they choose the song they'd like her to sing. Now this has got me thinking at what songs might be used for each kind of dance!
