Hi, happy, I understand your point, all three of my paternal and maternal (Spanish, Catalan and Polish) languages use different marks in different letters, for different purposes, so I pay a lot of attention to write things the right way, also in other languages. However, English doesn't have any of those special marks, so it is natural to omit them when written by English-speakers. It has also a technical reason. Although it is not hard to overcome this, an English keyboard doesn't have a direct way for writing any of these marks.
So, although it is a mistake to omt these marks when writing the languages that require them, it's a minor mistake and we can forgive it. As for myself, in this forum I can't write my name as it should be written, because the last letter is actually a Polish letter, an L with a bar crossing it, but the codification of the characters used by proboards doesn't support that letter. So, although I always prefer my name to be written the right way. I don't complain when it isn't, as long as it is close to it.
And we are at risk of going off-topic, so I shall stop here.
Michal

Decca should leave the á in "Amália Por Amor" (track 12). It's Portuguese. Hi Happy, Mainly because, Amália is a person's name, it should be written the same way everywhere. P.S. With the new orthographic reforms many accents were removed from the Portuguese language. Best wishes, Paulo Correia

In the other threadWell, in the Undercover interview, she said a fundrasing concert in NZ would kick off the tour, and that would seem to mean a NZ/Australia tour. We know the Quake Aid one is supposed to be in August, but we don't know when (or if) the Christchurch one will be. I'm going to guess the NZ/Aust. tour is going to be first, around Aug./Sept., and she'll do the Rugby World Cup while she's there. And I would imagine her singing the anthem near the beginning, to give the All Blacks the best luck through the whole thing! I think Hayley should be in the UK to promote Paradiso for a few weeks before and after the release. Hayley went off to join the Celtic Woman in the US as soon as Treasure was released and it dropped out of the pop chart quicker than usual, perhaps because the promotion stopped abruptly in its release week? US promotion would benefit I think, if Paradiso does well in the UK. Tours could take place after the US release of course, late this year (we know about one at least) or next year, but I think August/September tours could harm its UK success and that's where she is likely to sell most Paradiso copies. I hope they can fit in Quake Aid though, early August might work but I don't think mid to late August would be a good idea, it would be too close to the release date for my liking. Dave

How long would promotion take in the UK? Only a few weeks? Well, since the Cup lasts a while, she still might be able to go. She did say she'd be supporting them, and I was sure she meant she'd actually be there in person supporting them. Oh well, we'll find out someday.

3 new tweets from Adiction Entertainment. Seems things are hotting up. However the links are to things we have seen before. Two new TV ads sounds interesting.

On Amazon UK, they now have a video!! The one with the music in the background, and shows Hayley working with Ennio Morricone.

Well, I suspect either there are more signed copies than that or Amazon don't have very many. She was kind enough to sign mine on Sunday, and I saw quite a few others being produced for that purpose too.
