Well, I did receive a confirmation e-mail from my order. I actually received it almost right away, it just got a bit buried with other messages. So hopefully it'll be fine. Yeah, MartinD, I guess in New Zealand, Hayley doesn't need a huge amounnt of promotion to sell her albums there. Is there any of her international albums that was not a nº 1 in the NZ charts? Michal Yes, the only international one that wasn't number 1 was Winter Magic. If I'm not mistaken, I think it might've been number 20? Or maybe that was RoD, but that wasn't an international release, of course. And I agree, promotion should come in NZ when Hayley comes! I assume that's why she's going there.

Hi Tom, Everything is possible, on the album "Focus" by Ennio and Dulce Pontes "Once Upon A Time In The West" is the melody for "Your Love" and is sung in English, it exists another version sung in Portuguese which I think is only available on the Portuguese version of the album. The audio is not very good, but here are two examples of the two versions sung live. "Your Love" www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fm4vgmOEKM8"Amor a Portugal" (which means something like "Love for Portugal") www.youtube.com/watch?v=VFHs_Yj_v2oHi Paulo, Thanks for the links! It's actually better than I thought it would be, although I don't like the lady's voice very much. But I'm starting to believe that this piece may work with lyrics. Especially if the singer is named Hayley Westenra. i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif-Tom Hi Tom, I don't like Dulce Pontes's voice either, no doubt she has a very powerful voice, but the exaggerations in her singing are of bad taste to my liking. There is an interesting fact about Ennio and Dulce collaboration, they first met in 1995, when Ennio invited Dulce to sing a song for the soundtrack of the film "Sostiene Pereira", and impressed with Dulce's voice, promised her to record an album, but only when her voice matured enough, they recorded "Focus" in 2003 (Dulce was 34 years), I think it's amazing Ennio agreed to work with Hayley and she was only 23 years old.Greetings from Portugal, Paulo Correia

I'm working on persuading my dad to buy this album for me for Easter...and it's looking as though he will ..but he has said he would straightaway if he could listen to some preview clips of it beforehand...I think I'll have to wait a little longer... :/ best wishes Sing Hello Sing! Hopefully soon we will come across some samples. The new album will make a great Easter present! Edit: Marbecks have 'Paradiso' featured on their home page (noted as 'in the spotlight') www.marbecks.co.nz/Best wishes, Joe

Hello everyone It would appear that Hayley is now aware that there are quite a number of pre-orders for her album "Paradiso" She re-tweeted this a couple of hours ago. Best wishes Grant Hi Grant, It wouldn't suprise me that Paradiso might be getting more pre-orders than usual for a New Zealand release. Probably because Hayley has a lot of international fans that want to get their hands on the release. For a lot of other New Zealand releases, I imagine that people would prefer to just pop down the shops. Cheers, Jillian

Hello Jillian! Hayley has also had plenty of good publicity in New Zealand during the last few weeks, which has put her back where she belongs at the top of the ratings. Richard

Err... she is the top selling recording artist of all time in NZ. And she has just made her first new front line international album for four years! Don't you think that alone is enough to guarantee top sales?
I just hope that the staggered release dates don't impact too much on sales in those coutries that get it alst (like the UK). I would love her to become OUR best selling recording artist of all time. If it were up to me she would be.

Martin D Hi Martin D, I suspect that our NZ members will soon be able to confirm that this release has or will have a somewhat higher profile than her last few NZ releases, including (Celtic) Treasure. Smart move by Decca, is this particular release date, I think. Dave

Hi Paulo Thanks for sharing. That's a really heartfelt response from Marbeck's - no media hype - just genuine appreciation for our Hayley. So "ridiculously high" level of pre-orders - is that another record Hayley has broken I wonder? Hope they've still got a few copies to put on the shelves on Monday morning! Best wishes Grant
