Hello Richard!

As Fly the Eye is a Classic FM 2010 Christmas Charity event, I assumed that the main report/show/interview would be on that station and that the LBC thing was additional. Is that not what's going to happen? Sara didn't mention which show, so I (possibly incorrectly) assumed she meant on Classic FM.

Hello Dave!

Classic FM and LBC are sister stations in the same building in Leicester Square. It looks as though they've worked together and recorded an interview with Hayley for LBC while she was attending an event for Classic FM. I'm 99.9% certain Steve Allen's interview will be on LBC.

Sara now confirms what you said, and added that some photos and perhaps a short report are likely to appear on the Classic FM website before too long.

We just need to keep our eyes on LBC and Classic FM between now and Easter.

Maybe she sang Santa Lucia. There's a lot of smiling going on, which seems to indicate a fun song, or maybe she's not actually singing in those photos. It's hard to tell. Or maybe it's a new song entirely.

Twelve lucky listeners enjoyed a private recital with a difference last week - as they joined Hayley Westenra in their own capsule on the EDF Energy London Eye.

The soprano gave a sparkling performance as the capital's lights shimmered below.

As the guests sipped champagne and took in the 25-mile view of London they were treated to a very special solo performance with guitar accompaniment.

In true Kiwi style, Hayley began her performance with an a cappella rendition of the New Zealand National Anthem and followed this by a traditional New Zealand love song, Pokarekare Ana.

The guests, who had donated £1720 to The Classic FM Foundation to win the experience, also enjoyed Hayley's performance of Amazing Grace (a cappella), Dolly Parton's Jolene, Joni Mitchell's Both Sides Now and Caccini's Ave Maria.
