Okay. I guess they would figure out what days Hayley has available, and figure it out from there. I imagine that the winner's schedule isn't as busy as Hayley's, so I'm sure it'll all work out fine.

It looks like the lucky winners are getting their treat tonight! Here is a tweet from the Classicfm Foundation mascot, Bach the Dog :

It's a shame I'm not still living there! I could have walked down to see her! Ah well, hope the event goes well!

But she was actually in the eye, in one of the capsules. How would you have seen her? I think only 10 other people besides the winner (and Hayley, obviously) got to be in the capsule with her. Could you have seen her from inside one of the other capsules? I don't know much about how the Eye works, so I'm just wondering.
Anyway, Hayley just tweeted about it, too, about 5 hours ago. It must've been a bit of a late night.
What does the "tick" mean, I wonder?

Hello folks! I was a bit tempted, but I decided not to go last night. I'm keeping an eye on Classic FM's website in case they post a report. Richard

Like she's crossing it off her list of things to do. Perhaps Hayley has a lot of different things on her plate at the moment. Cheers, Jillian

Cheers, Jillian i thought it was more done correctly, or done well; like she was pleased with herself... it took about a day for that to come out... smart of you to think of that jillian; it was a source of confusion for me; we usually say "check" as well; darn modern english

Hi Jillian, Spiderman and everyone
You are both right. A tick is commonly used to indicate that something is correct but, in Hayley's case, it will mean "done" and ticked off her list of things to do.
Hayley is, no doubt, accutely aware at the moment of the committments she has to fulfil before she can return to New Zealand; see her family and do her bit for her country.
Best wishes Grant

the capsules are mounted on pivots about 10 metres or less apart. The angle between your capsule and the adjoining capsules is constantly changing as the wheel rotates, but you could easily identify people in the adjoining capsules. Big Ben's Tower and clock and Parliament buildings from the London Eye Battersea Power Station at top left of photo below, 4 white chimneys as featured on the sleeve of Pink Floyd's album Animals. A view upwards on the last quarter of your rotation of the wheel.

Thanks for another great find, Jillian! It's good to see LBC taking an interest in Hayley. LBC and Classic FM are both part of the Global Radio group, and their studios are in the same building in Leicester Square. Best wishes, Richard
