I don't know how closely people on this forum follow Celtic Woman. Alex Sharpe who joined Celtic woman in Dec of 2007 to take the place of Lisa who was pregnant with Ellie at that time. Alex left the group at the end of the winter spring tour of 2010 after having been with Celtic Woman during the 2008, 2009 and the 1st part of 2010. This was at the end of the Songs from the Heart tour of which Alex was in the DVD performance that I attended in July of 2009. I did not get to see Alex the last few weeks she was perfoming only on stage in Tempe Arizona. I did give her a birthday gift along with a card and some sharpies 
I will miss Alex terribly. 
Orlagh Fallon the Soloist and Harpest left Celtic woman in late 2008 to persue her own musical Carrier. Orlagh had been touring on her own with PBS and with Jim Brickman. Orlagh just completed a Christmas DVD in Nashville that I attended at the end of August 2010 this is to be aired on PBS in the next few weeks. Orlagh has introduced two CD's since her departure from Celtic Woman. Meav made a guest appearance on Orlagh's Christmas special. It was so nice to see and to be able to talk to Meav after the shoot. I did get to see and talk with Orlagh in December of 2009 after her short performance in Cleaveland. Meav of course left Celtic Woman, She resigned right after the Chirstmas DVD performance in July of 2007.
Last Lynn Hillary announced her leaving of Celtic Woman November of 2010 right after the show in Brisbane Australia. Lynn Joined Celtic Woman right after the departure of Meav and Halley in August of 2007. After three years of touring finishing ANJ in May of 2008 in the US and the Isle of hope tour in 2009 and one DVD the "Songs from the Heart " and finaly the Songs from the Heart tour this year and the short tour in Australia this last October and Nov of 2010. I last saw Lynn in Melbourne. After lynn said bye to me on that last performance I did not know that this was her last I would see her with Celtic Woman.
The group had been down one girl that was Alex during the entire summer tour and during the tour in Australia. Now Lynn has left the group. Both Lynn and Alex citing the long tours wanting to be home in Ireland and being with friends and family as their personal reasons for wanting to leave.
I had been fortunate to have gotten to know all the girls during their years of being with CW. Since I came down to Australia with two other friends and met some others from the States who met myself and Scott and Tony in Sydney. We attended shows at two of the Venue's. Mairead Chloe and Lisa had asked us if we would be attending the Brisbane show and when we informed them that we were heading back to Sydney to fly back to Los Angeles on that Tuesday. Yes my arms got tired from all the flapping.
The girls seemed sad that we wouild not be attending. That show got recorded. And this could be the very last Celtic Woman show period. Only the next month would we all know. There is supposed to be a tour next winter spring but their are two many loose ends right now that have not been attended too.

). I'll probably want to see what the new members are like before I take the trouble to see them live. 
When they have no new albums, why should there be a tour? Sure, it makes money, but it gets to be the same after a while. I probably wouldn't have gone next year anyway because of that. I'll wait for something new before I go see them again. I would like to be in the front row for their show sometime though.
