SPOILER ALERT - USA WEST COAST VIEWERS- SPOILER ALERTIf you want to watch AGT when it airs in your time zone first - don't read below.. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . Another two hours of fabulous acts as we are now in the top ten. The pre-teen dance partners Anna Kaczmarski & Patryk Ploszay had a bit of a setback at the very start of their turn. Anna slipped and fell as she came down the stairs toward stage center. Like a seasoned performer, she got back up and she and Patryk danced a brilliant performance. They are profiled on Dance Sport Info where you can read about them and see photos of the junior partners when they met in 2007. Prince Poppycock's performance, well, was another wacky and wonderful exhibition! His costume was a sort of glam George Washington Jackie Evancho - WOW - a moment to remember in American live TV MIchael Grimm's performance of Al Green's "Let's Stay Together" was a perfect choice. The top 4 vote getters will be announced on Wednesday's show...one of the special guests will be Sarah McLachlan! I think you know my favorites for the final ! Joe

I'm liking who is in the top 4 so far. although not mentioned on NBC, judge Piers Morgan will take over Larry King's talk show next January. Piers will take the show to the UK during Britain's Got Talent's next series.

Joe, actually he was, as he said, "just a Yankee Doodle Dandy!" At the very least, he resembles "Uncle Sam" a bit more than he does George Washington. Not quite sure where you're getting that from. And yes, Uncle Sam was actually a real person, but the portrayal of him on the posters was quite fictional. Anyway, I was afraid his act was a little too silly to make it, but I obviously I worried myself for nothing. I voted for him of course, because I enjoy his acts, and I'm dying to know what he'll do next! At least we can see now that he's definitely not a classical crossover artist. i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifJackie was really good. It was my favorite performance from her so far, because her voice sounded much smoother and prettier. Her dress was very pretty, too. When she made it, it was funny when she had to go stand next to those 2 "giants" (Prince Poppycock and Michael Grimm). I was disappointed that Ana & Patryk didn't make it, but I wasn't that surprised. I don't even think it was because of the fall; the song and the whole performance were just not as exciting as exciting as other times. I did vote for them, though. Yes, I think the top 4 is pretty good this time.

Hi Libby! I like your 'Uncle Sam' description of the Prince better! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif I thought there were too many background performers in Poppycock's performance. The dancing Capitol building for instance Too many steps Yep, I can only imagine what he's got in store for us next week! Oh, I really don't like it when they are ready to announce the acts that made it to the next round...two acts are on stage and Nick Cannon says "the one act going through to the next round is...(and that awful 20-second pause...) no one"! Mind you, sometimes he'll say "both acts are going through" Looking foward to the final !! Joe

Oh yeah! When they had Christina & Alli, and Jeremy up there, he said, "One act is safe, and one is going home", and then he said neither one was going to the final! I was very glad, but that was mean to tease them like that! When they came up, I thought, Oh no! I didn't think either one should be in the final. The girls are cute, but not really that good. And I don't want to see Jeremy risk his neck anymore with a bunch of ladies prancing around him anymore, either. In case you were wondering, "Uncle Sam" was somebody named Sam who owned a meat company, and he supplied the soldiers with his meat during the war of 1812. I guess they started calling him Uncle Sam. I read it in the History channel's magazine while I was waiting for something. It was all really quite interesting reading. I'm very disappointed the AGT tour will not be coming to Seattle, becauses I really wanted to see Prince Poppycock! It would've been nice to see Jackie, too, and fun to watch Fighting Gravity, too. Oh, well.

Maybe the special guest performers will take the stage with the top 4 acts tomorrow. Prince Poppycock was first up and Donna Summer was not on stage. Pity... He was disappointing on 'Nessun Dorma'. Piers even gave him an x, and Poppycock must have had audio trouble as he removed his earpieces midsong. I won't reveal his costume!!
Back with more updates soon...Jackie is the third performer.

Hi Joe
That was my reading. Here is a copy and paste from the press release linked on Jackie's thread.
In the series’ season finale on September 15 (NEW TIME: 8-10 p.m. ET), special guest stars David Copperfield, Donna Summer, Goo Goo Dolls, Jewel, Lionel Richie, The Beatles LOVE by Cirque du Soleil, Sarah Brightman, Usher and many more surprise guests will appear before this season’s winner of “America’s Got Talent” is revealed live by host Nick Cannon.

I thought Prince P.'s performance was pretty good, but I'm not sure that it was good enough to win. I enjoyed it, though, and I didn't think it deserved an X. But Xs are what Piers is famous for. i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifWell, I certainly wasn't expecting the famous people to participate in the competition.

What the Dickens is he doing on the show? - Donna Summer? At least she's a seasoned performer. - Goo Goo Dolls? Such gibberish to have them on! - Jewel? How precious. - Lionel Richie? Another electrifying, well-trained performer. - The Beatles LOVE by Cirque du Soleil? That's all we need! - Sarah Brightman? Will she be classically cross over anything that goes wrong? - Usher? He'll tell 'em where to go!

I remember Donna Summer all right (I Feel Love was her major hit). A bit of a larger than lifr character. It might work with PP.

SPOILER ALERT - USA WEST COAST VIEWERS- SPOILER ALERT If you want to watch AGT when it airs in your time zone first - don't read below. What a way to end season 5 of AGT! The entire two hours was performance-packed! But I don't really like when they bring back some of the worst acts...they are still awful! Singer Michael Grimm was the winner on the night. Here is how the top 4 placed, (and who their special guest performer were): 1. Michael Grimm (Jewel) 2. Jackie Evancho (Sarah Brightman) 3. Fighting Gravity (Lionel Ritchie) 4. Prince Poppycock (Donna Summer)

Just watched Prince Poppycock's 'Nessun Dorma' and was underwhelmed. He's lack of vocal technique was exposed in that aria, and I agreed with Piers. He needed to be fun. He also seems to have misunderstood the aria. It's not about rescuing a princess. Well... depends on your view, really... XD I understand he was trying to do something different with it.
I do like Prince Poppycock, but without the visuals, his voice isn't great.
