That's exactly what I think, Nicola. He has a closer style to Opera in singing, let's say, he understands what the Opera singing is and tries to imitate it, and he really points in the right direction, but let's say he doesn't get too far: he isn't trained enough and, of course, he isn't gifted with a very notable voice, as Jackie. At least it is what I think, but maybe I am wrong on him trying to be close to Opera.

I was disappointed in his choice of song and performance, so I was not very surprised he was the last runner-up. I thought his first few songs were his best, especially his audition. But as I said, I still enjoyed the performance, although I wasn't sure if I ever saw the "princess" get rescued. His voice may not be amazing, but it is still nice to listen to. I like his tone, and he can carry a tune. :wink: But I agree he was lacking on Nessun Dorma. For one thing, I thought he didn't hold some of the notes long enough. His voice did sound pleasant, and I still thought it was nice, even if it didn't blow me away.
