Hi everyone, There is a new promo clip for Paradiso on Vimeo, which includes a brief snippet of unseen footage - presumably not used in the Whispers in a Dream video. Check it out here: vimeo.com/25089959Absolutely stunning trailer! Makes you realize how HUGE this album is! Dori

No one can dare to say one of after listening to Hayley, and indeed they didn't say one of, they said the purest voice in the world Which is so true!

WEll, being pedantic, you can't ever say that until you've listened to every voice in the world - an impossible task. All you can say is "the purest voice I've ever heard".

Well, Celtic Woman has already delved into the lullaby market... maybe Hayley could, too.

I have been playing Paradiso quietly on repeat throughout the night for the past two months. I can thoroughly recommend it. Waking in the night doesn't bother me at all now. I just wish I could remember those whispers in my dreams.

"In general I don't write arrangements for artists, and I decided to make an exception to my rule of only doing instrumental arrangements" - Ennio Morricone
I think Ennio's words itself were a reason why those slightly inaccurate promotional facts were projected....and also It doesn't really matter, it only helps lifting up the album a little more XD....Maybe if they said "Morricone generally never allowed artists to write lyrics for his music....", oh well, all for the best XD

(translated to English as we can see in the video) it is implied that he did in the past. But that has anything to do with writing the lyrics, as far as I know, Ennio writes the music arrangements not the lyrics. I don't understand the inaccuracy, but as Martin D. said, many people don't know the facts, perhaps only people in Portugal, Spain (where Dulce Pontes has a lot of fans) and Italy are aware of the collaboration with Ennio Morricone. Nevertheless, I hope "Paradiso" has much success in the UK! In the US too! As we all know these are the two markets that rule the world! Best wishes, Paulo Correia

Yes, I think it does have the potential of being somewhat successful in the U.S. Enough so that it's worth promoting here, and from what Hayley said in one of the recent radio interviews, it sounds very much like the US will be one of the promotions stops. No, she didn't say that directly. What she did say was something about, "we have to promote the album in the UK and the States...making our way around the world..." What does that sound like to you? If she wasn't going to the States to promote it, you wouldn't think it would be important enough to mention. And yet she did mention it, so I am getting my hopes up now! I'm sure Good Morning America would welcome her back!

Oh, wait, now I remember she actually said, "we have to release the album in the UK & US." But still, she definitely did say the part about "making our way around the world" right after that. I just don't see how else you release an album somewhere while making your way around the world, and not stopping at one of the places you're releasing it! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif

Hi Jillian, Good, good, and well spotted! So that will be three significant Paradiso 'happenings' 6 to 8 weeks before release, and with the Wogan show you mentioned in the other thread, efforts to get Hayley onto BBC Radio 2 (the biggest UK radio station) as well as Classic FM. The Radio 2 could be much more significant than Classic FM radio, and it looks like the Amazon downloads "EP" is to allow it onto the Radio 2 playlist, when otherwise they would not have considered it until August. Smart move by Decca - and gives Hayley three tracks to choose from when singing on the programme. The advance UK promo so far is looking good. Cheers, Dave
