quote author=sandyn board=albums2 thread=5154 post=120 Hi Martind -- I just made it up -- an adaptation of 'Once Upon a Time in the West'. Jillian Funnily enough I am going to see Once Upon a Time in The West on Saturday as part of the NZ Film Festival. This is a classic 1968 Spaghetti Western which has supposedly Ennio's best music score in it.

I guess I see now that you had to eradicate all those watermarks!
Martin, the Japanese tour next year is called Beauty from Within, but we don't know for sure that that's the title of the album. It's possible, though.
Joanne, on the Japanese version of WM, I think she is looking at the camera, but the regular version, she's sort of looking into the distance. Oh, and there was more than 1 UK version of Odyssey. The original UK version had the same cover as everybody else. It's just the special UK version that's different. And I think the River of Dreams photo she's looking at the camera.

i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif I have just seen the movie Once Upon a Time In The West and it was excellent. One of the classic Western movie ever made. Charles Bronson and Henry Fonda were excellent in their roles. And Ennio's music was fantastic especially with the Harmonica added. If his music is as good on Hayley's album it will be fantastic.

Hayley is looking at the camera on the cover of the UK version of Treasure, too.

I really several of her original songs make it on the album! Those are usually my favorites.

Yes, but it doesn't sound like there are any, unless she wrote lyrics to songs Ennio composed. That would be nice.

The latest statement on Russell's official site says: ... which doesn't seem to be quite what you suggested, though it's Italian themed alright. Same orchestra though. Cheers, Dave

I can't imagine that Ennio would want to release two albums of his music with two different artists at more or less the same time. It doesn't make commercial sense.
But the Roma Sinfionetta is an orchestra, and Ennio conducts it. My guess is that Russell Watson has used that orchestra to back his new Italian themed album. But that is nothing like what Hayley is doing. Signore Morricone may have conducted the orchestra, bu there is no suggestion that any of his own music was performed.
Hayley's album s altogether different, since I understand all the music on it was composed by Morricone, although Hayley may have written some or all of the lyrics. The same orchestra was involved in the recording, but that is as far as the similarity goes.

I don't think she would have written all of the lyrics. When the articles first started telling about their collaboration, they said it would have some of his classic songs on it. That could've changed, but I bet there'll at least be a few.

A mix is what I've always appreciated from Hayley.

I recently went to a Russell Watson concert and he told the audience that he worked with Ennio Morricone as his producer on his latest album.
