Hi Juliette Thank you so much for your fantastic review I felt like I was there all over again and you remembered so much detail - how clever of you. I'm very happy that we were able to make you feel at home during your time in London and that you got to not only have your photo taken with Hayley but to chat as well. She really is very lovely and so generous with her time. So you were also clapping loudly for "River"? So was I - I was determined to get that second encore and I suspect that between us we made the rest of the audience realise that they might get another one too. I hope you will be able to make it to some more concerts next year and that we will be able to meet up again. Lots of Love Grant

Juliette, I enjoyed your account of the concert very much. The part about the "no coughing" was really funny. I've gotten a similar impression of Rhydian as you did. No emotion behind his performances. Not even in his eyes, although his eyes are somewhat piercing. That's the main reason I enjoyed Prince Poppycock's Figaro performance (from AGT) much more than Rhydian's. He does have a good voice, though. I find it to be a commanding voice. In this genre, I prefer gentle, yet powerful voices. I thought Sissel was Norwegian, not Swedish. I've never heard her version of O Holy Night, so I'll have to try it sometime. Can't wait to see the photo from your "shy camera".

The video of Hayley and Rhydian was very nice. It's not my favorite Christmas song; I've always found it kind of slow and boring. But Hayley sounded wonderful, so that made it more tolerable. i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifDuring the instrumental part in the middle, it was kind of boring, but it was funny watching the two standing around patiently waiting for their part. Rhydian just stood there stalk still, while Hayley made some attempt to stay into the song at that part. It almost seemed like they were bored, too! I like the sentiment of the song, but the tune is just kind of dull for me. Plus, you get tired of it when you have to hear it every day at work!

@juliiete, Thank you for your wonderfull report !!! I'm glad to hear your first Hayley concert went well!! I thought Sissel was Norwegian, not Swedish. I've never heard her version of O Holy Night, so I'll have to try it sometime. Hi Libby... Sissel is Norwegian....if she sings in swedish, does not mean she is from Sweden!! Greetz Joyce

Hi Juliette, I really enjoyed reading your 3 part report. I can remember my first Hayley concert at Buxton ( Hayley's 21st ) in similar detail..... it is well over two years ago now and some of the other concerts I have been lucky enough to go to since then have somewhat merged together in their detail....Now did I hear that at X or Y So if my experience is anything to go by you will remember your day in London in great detail for many years to come. Best Wishes and Thanks, Graham

Hi everyone! Thank you very much for your kind answers It was a pleasure to write my report and to remember everything! Libby: Sissel is indeed Norwegian, but she sings a lot in Swedish as Norway and Sweden are both Scandinavian countries. Check out on youtube her live version of 'O Helga Natt', it's really impressive So... The surprise of my little shy camera... I couldn't get photos during the concert, or at least a few one but not beautiful, because of the lighting. HOWEVER... I could get some videos !!!! I have 'The Little Road to Bethlehem' and 'When a Child Is Born' from the first half, and nearly all the second half, including 'River'! I already posted 'When a Child Is Born' on my youtube channel. Here is the link: www.youtube.com/watch?v=1PBt4EWtSGwAs photographies or videos weren't allowed, I had to hide as much as possible my camera, so it is sometimes shacking. I couldn't include on the videos Raven because there was someone just in my right diagonal hiding them. Also, Libby, I am very sorry, because when Hayley started 'All With You', I thought of you because I know how much you would like to hear that one live. So, I immediately started the video to give you the opportunity to watch it live. But, yesterday, I made a terrible mistake, while I hadn't copy the files on my computer, I deleted them by accident from my memory card. Thankfully, I could have them back, unless, coincidentally, the one of 'All With You'. I'm so sorry because I really wanted you to have the opportunity to watch it and when she started I immediately thought: 'Oh! This one is for Libby!' It's a shame, because I recorded 30 seconds of 'Corpus Christi Carol' and I would have preferred this one to be irrecoverable rather than the one of 'All With You'... Well, at least, there are the others. I will be posting some more videos later, so keep an eye open! Lots of love, Juliette

Hi Juliette and everyone, Thank you all for the wonderful reports and magnificent photos. I always enjoy reading all the reports and see the photos, but for someone like me that never had the experience of hear Hayley live, the first impressions from an Hayley concert are very special. Soon, the concert was about to begin so we all got to our place. I was sitting next to a very sweet girl whose Grandma is a Rhydian's fan. She told me before the concert that she had only heard about Hayley but never seen her live. And she was amazed by Hayley's talent. And so was I. [/b][/quote] I had tears in my eyes reading your report Juliette. Thank you very much. Best wishes, Paulo Correia

Great photos and reviews Grant and Juliette. Hayley's smile could light up the darkest Winter day. It must have been hilarious when the audience helped her out with "River" but after nearly 20 songs I'm sure they'd forgive her a little mishap on the final one.
