Please vote in this poll regarding dancing to Hayley's music.
As most of you know by now Hayley's "Dark Waltz" is a great song to dance to. Her "Summer Rain" is a spirited toe-tapper, and "Wuthering Heights" inspires creative dance steps as well. It's hard not to be moved -- literally -- by many of her songs (And yes, nearly jumping out of your skin at that one point in "Benedictus" counts!). So lets take a quick poll to see how many of us find her music suitable for dancing of any kind.

Gosh, I'm first. Can't say I ever danced to Hayley, but then I don't dance very often to anything anyway. Hardly any of the music I listen to is suitable.

One of the Hayley songs I consider dancier, is Summerfly, for me it's really hard to stay sitted when listenintg to that happy and fast rhythm. And if I was a better dancer, I would certainly enjoy much dancing some of her slower songs.

One of the Hayley songs I consider dancier, is Summerfly... Yeah, that's what I meant instead of Summer Rain. Summer Fly gets your toes tapping like no other Hayley song!

That's what I figured you meant, Steve, and was just about to ask. My sister dances to everything, so she dances to Hayley, too, and her favorite is Summerfly. Yes, that part in Benedictus can be quite startling, even if you've heard it before! 'Cause if you're not paying close attention (say you're listening while you're chatting to Hayley fans), you don't anticipate it, and then you do get somewhat startled. But the more often you listen the less often that happens. I don't dance much (I chose "it's my heart dancing"), but inside I often feel like I want to move to it, but I just don't know how. But I think more often I imagine something more like figure skating than dancing, since you can glide and spin, rather than leap around or waltz around.

I'm definitely not a dancer. I tried it once, but I was known as "Muffin the Mule" because I kept kicking everybody! Richard

It could be the ballerina in me but I'm constantly dancing to Hayley's music whether physically or in my head. I am constantly thinking up new choreography for her dances. Maybe one day I'll finally create one (or at least part!) and share it with you!

What songs do you think are good ones to dance to... like as in what songs should they dance to on the dance show? i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif Wasn't one of your friends on the show for a few weeks? I seem to remember you mentioning that, and I think that was the season they used Dark Waltz.

Hey Libby! Well, it really depends on what kind of dance you'd like to do. Ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, modern etc. The Coventry Carol would be perfect for a ballet piece. Carmina Burana was actually set to modern dance at the Minnesota Dance Theatre.. In Trutina was used and danced to. Though it wasn't Hayley's version because they had live music too. However, I did learn dances from Carmina because my teacher at school was one of the dancers involved in the production. Wuthering Heights is a perfect modern piece! I've envisioned a modern ballet piece to "Let Me Lie" I've started choreographing to "Listen to the Wind" from A New World "Here Beside Me" would be a wonderful lyrical/ ballet duet. And so many more.. haha! Some of my favorite is lyrical and modern. But also modern ballet! And yes! My friend Kourtni Lind was on the show for quite some time. If I remember right she made it into the top ten. We danced together in high school. <3 Caite
