I take it to mean U.S. is pretty much excluded, and if she does come to North America, it'll only be Canada. But even if she doesn't do a U.S. tour, she could still come to a few cities. I won't hold my breath, but I won't give up hope, either. If not next year, maybe the year after that!

Hi Nicola,
It means a lot to all of us that you do this. You do a wonderful job, not just for Hayley but by making us aware of new artists too.
Hayley is unique as we all know, and might not entirely fit within the bounds of what you regard as classical crossover. But in a world where nobody wants to know Hayley because they can't categorise her, you have kept faith and supported her. I'm sure Hayley, like me, will thank you for that. Please, carry on doing it. Don't be too dogmatic about who qualifies. You bring many unusual artists to our attention. Hayley is the gem, we know, but in some ways you remind me of the late John Peel, someone who was prepared to support artists he liked whatever anyone else thought.
Hayley is Hayley. Perhaps she defines a genre of her own. Her new album could be seriously brilliant and I have a good feeling about it. Later than we had hoped I know, but worth waiting for I think.

Hi Nicola
I know I have already 'Tweeted' my approval, but I just had to post here as well to say very well done on a brilliant interview. I really enjoyed reading it and I feel that your questions are always more in depth than when Hayley is interviewed by an 'ordinary' journalist - for want of a better word.
Very interested to hear about the songwriting and the new album and the world international tour!!
Thanks again Nicola
Best wishes Mark

Thanks for conducting this interview, Nicola. Your questions are always fresh and original, unlike most interviews which seem to discuss the same topics all the time. I really enjoyed reading it.
So nice to know that Hayley is planning an international tour. I certainly hope that she makes a stop near my hometown.

Many thanks for your hard work, Nicola! I was also interested to read that Hayley wants to write songs for other people. Her future is looking very bright indeed. Richard

Well, I would like to think she could fiull a few halls in the USA. I'm not sure she has many fans in the East, but there seem to be a few in Seattle, so if I were her management, that is one place I would be choosing, perhaps first on the list of anywhere in the US. But she could easily do say half a dozen shows in the states, covering east and west. Personally I hope it happens. I have made sure Hayley knows about the fact that my YouTube videos get more hits from the USA than any other country (44% of all hits at the last count). So who knows, Hayley and her management might just pick up on that. You guys over there deserve it.

I really enjoyed the interview, especially the stuff about possibly performing "Dark Waltz" in concert. If she does include this in a live performance I hope it's done in a big way with ample instrumental backing. I don't think just a violin and piano would do justice to this song's rich musical energy.

Martin, I don't know for sure that the east coast would get more attention than west coast, but I get the impression that Celtic Woman is extra popular in the New York area, and she was a member at one time, so she might be more well-known there. One of her last appearances in the U.S., to do her own show and set list, was in New York in 2007, something called Ulysses. Of course, she was also in D.C. in 2008, and all over the country with CW, but those were not her shows.
